IT Infrastructure Architecture - Infrastructure Building Blocks and Concepts Third Edition Kindle Edition

This is a great book to read to make sure there are no knowledge gaps in your overall understanding of IT infrastructure architecture. I enjoyed the mention of older technologies like core memory, PDPs, IMPs, etc. I could only fault the book for one tiny thing, and that’s using “for instance” a lot. This book could easily have been titled IT Building Blocks.

Excellent book. It gives you a different vision of infrastructure management.

Very informative book. Can be recommended for both experts and beginners. But the technicalities cannot be all digested in one read, it has to be studied.

A manual for IT architecture

Item was what was expected.

As someone who is looking at moving into a TA role having been DBA for most of my working life this has been a good introductory text. Will need supplementing with experience and other materials but a great start.

I work in IT department, this book is a comprehensive a high level overview of all the cooncepts i see everyday at work
