I'm glad I bought this. It replaces my old one that was smaller and my knuckles would rub on the countertop when rolling. This one is bigger and keeps my knuckles up off the countertop.

I really don't bake but I needed some method to repair an out of round vintage telescope tubing and saw the baking roller method suggestion online so purchased the wooden roller that is soft enough for reducing any damage but firm enough to provide the necessary support...applied it to the vintage telescope part needing repair, tapping it gently with a hammer around the curvature of the roller and lo and behold it worked using the wooden roller as a base for rerounding the bent object.. so just a little do it yourself trick for those of us that like to stare up into the night sky with telescopes and occasionally with telescopes that are needing some recipe for repair

I just got this delivered the other day and I’m just writing this in hopes other OCD people like me will see this. It’s a great rolling pin and does the job. However the milling is not perfect so it’s not a perfectly smooth roll. I can feel one end rising and the other end sinking. I even had my wife verify to ensure I’m not crazy and she agrees. It’s not a HUGE deal but it bothers me deeply to my core. I almost want to buy a new/different one because of it but it still does a great job and I can’t justify that. We’ll see how I feel in year! Haha

This 17.5" L x 2.5" W, Rosewood rolling pin is a great addition to any kitchen. I do wish that the makers would post the actual roller length along with the total length. This roller measures 10” long with each handle measuring 3.66” long. There are plastic coasters at each end of the handle to help facilitate easy rolling.I like how easy this rolling pin is to use with different types of dough: bread, pizza, tortilla, pierogi, and cookie dough. So far, I haven’t had any problems when rolling out my dough. I would say that I am an experienced baker but definitely not a professional. I like the comfort grip handles. They fit perfectly in my hands, and I don’t find myself tiring out whenever I’m rolling thicker doughs.Clean-up is super easy! Hand wash – always – and dry immediately. A damp rag will also remove any flour or dough. I would never put a wooden rolling pin in a dishwasher.I genuinely like this rolling pin. I haven’t found any cons regarding its use. I would happily recommend it to any person to simplify their life.
