I bought this tiger balm since I red a review claiming this is the original tiger balm.This tiger balm is good, but it's not the original. It's not a fake too. It is manufactured by Olic (thailand) Limited for Haw Par Tiger Balm (thailand) Ltd under licence from Haw Par Corporation Ltd, Singapore.Now, the composition is similar but not the same (i own an original box so I can compare them). This Thai tiger balm works fine, but the smell is not strong as the original so, if you have a flue, it won't help. The cold sensation is stronger, so it happens that, if you're not enough dressed (I mean a scarf if you use it on your neck, for example, or a jacket if you use it on your back), your body cannot fight the cold and you end up more troubled (that's not the case with the original: it resolve the problem even if you're not enough dressed and the cold sensation last lesser). But if you keep yourself warm and you have not a flue it's very good, considering how heap it is. For me it works the best if I use it before I go to sleep. The warm of the bed and a night of relaxing sleep do a good job in helping the balm.I hope my information will be useful. I gave four stars since it's not the original. But it's really good.

So... I've been using tiger balm for many years now and always try and purchase direct from the herbalists. I desperately needed to get some as mine had run out so took a chance on this particular one.... now it came in quite cheap so I honestly didn't think it would be great. It arrive a week early and on opening the box could smell very little, usually u can smell it through the box if the strength is good. Baring in mind this is supposed to be the extra strength version.Smelt the opened container and still not strong.... rubbed my finger over the top and still not very strong.... so liberally put it in all of the usual places...back, shoulders etc.... without a doubt this has to be THE strongest tiger balm I have ever tried!!!!It took roughly 5 mins for this to penetrative the skin but once it had I had no doubts it was exactly what it was supposed to be..... at one point thought I would have to remove it but it lasted for about half an hour and then the coolness kicked in which was lovely. U can actually feel it working into the joint and muscles which is a massive improvement on my so called extra strong prescription pain killers.... I will say though if u find the normal balm hot then this will be far to hot for u and u should still to the lower balm as this hits like a derailed train!!!!...😂 there is more on the way as we speak...🖒

I had bought this item on the 5th of Aug, 2013, and was unsure if it would arrive, or if the item was real. As I had seen on eBay they kept advertising as their item wasn't 'fake, like the rest.'So it started to make me think, maybe this item was fake for it's price. As when I was in Soho London, a small Chinese medical in remedies shop was trying to charge me almost £15 for the same bottle.I had taken a risk, and thought, if it was fake. It's only a few quid out of pocket.It had arrived today the 22nd of Aug, 2013. So the delivery date wasn't too bad, 17 days.I had quickly tested a small amount across my forehead. The gel becomes a fine oil very easliy, so a tiny amount is all that is needed to spread across my forehead.As I've tried normal Tigerbalm in the past (red jar), this white was a more suttle amount of heat and smell. Kind of like those 'Head Smoothe's' if you've ever seen/used them.I'm glad I had purchased this item, just regret that I didn't buy more than one.Bought from the seller Thaibestsupply, so I can recommend their great service, and rate this item a great buy.

I have been ill for a very long time & often am in pain. I am on a cocktail of medications & have just had a serious op which has meant the doctors have upped my painkillers.I thought I'd give tiger balm a go in the hope that it would help my sore joints without having to take so many painkillers. They should prescribe this stuff on the NHS!!!It has a really strong menthol/eucalyptus type smell (like very strong vapour rub) & is a red-brown colour. The texture is quite waxy & it rubs in easily.It takes about 10 minutes to work & gives deep soothing relief to sore muscles & joints. After a particularly bad day this was a Godsend!The company itself are great- fast dispatch & delivered 2 days before expected date. Will now be ordering this stuff in bulk as this has helped me so much. Fantastic product, fantastic company, 10/10 would definitely recommend & buy from again :)!

My mom always used to use this when I was a kid and now I understand why. Great for mild pain relief especially back pain when going to bed. I knew what caused my back pain and I didn’t have any red flag symptoms so I knew I could use this. Make sure to speak to a healthcare provider regarding your pain.

Got this for a sprained ankle and now it’s my go to for everything from headaches to bruises. It’s way stronger than the normal Walmart tiger balm and has a pleasant aroma. I wish they sold it in stores here in the US. 10/10 will be getting more for my family and as gifts for others!

works great If there is a downside it is a bit expensive
