Rating: 3 Stars - Liked ItPOV: Dual 1stThoughts: Started off good with some fun time bickering with Willow and Cash. Adored his flirty laid back attitude. His personality did help me to cope with her over the top kick butt attitude. He was the perfect guy for her. He had a way of breaking down this huge wall she has built to never let anyone get close to her. I have no experience what she went through in her past and never would want to. I at least have a understanding at why she became the woman she is today. The bad guy is full on creepy.Was looking forward to Cash and Willow story. Was not a hit but also was not a bust either. Did have the same scenario with Cash not letting his MC brothers in on what was going on with Willow like the first book did with its hero/heroine. Wanted something different in that direction. Same as book one, good plot idea but a lot happens last half of book. Once again repetitive Dual 1st POV.Noted that this can be a stand alone. But better if read Reign (Henchmen MC #1) the first book and Monster (Savages #1) a different series. I did read Reign first and enjoyed Cash and Willow as secondary characters. I did not read Monster as was not lost. I assuming the one new character is from there. There were 3 groups in this book. I am curious if this series is really going to be focusing more on each couple and the MC life taking the back burner. I was hoping to get more of the MC life and their doings. Once again I am interested in the secondary characters.Series / Review1: Reign - 3

4.5 StarsI'm more than a little late to the party when it comes to Jessica Gadziala, and only read Reign the first of The Henchmen MC series last year.I love a strong, sassy, resilient, take no prisoners heroine and that's exactly what you get with Lo. Cash on the other hand is a dirty talking bad boy with a heart of gold. He's also quite funny and very loyal to the Henchman MC.I love an MC romance and Lo and Cash are dynamic, complex and intriguing and their story is full of intrigue, suspense, action, and drama. The connection and chemistry they share is undeniable.I think I really need to check out the reading order of Jessica's books as this is sure to not be my last.

What do you get when you have a headstrong woman and a flirtatious but serious alpha male biker? You get a romance clash that is enough to heat up any heart. This romance is on all levels. It's poignant, sweet, hardcore, and just the perfect balance between gritty and realistic.Willow, also known as Lo, is a powerful hardcore woman. She doesn't need a man to save her. She doesn't even need them in her life to fulfill her. She just needs herself. The past has been enough to harden her, train her, and keep her from falling into the mindset of a typical relationship.It's a good thing that she doesn't meet the "typical male". Instead, she develops a relationship with the VP of the Henchmen MC. She fights it, tooth and nail sometimes, but the attraction is just too much to ignore.Cash, VP of the Henchmen MC and brother to the President, is serious when he has to be but willing to flirt when it calls for it. He tries to keep everything on an even keel but sometimes, well life just won't let you. He's a fierce protector, fighter, and worth the effort.Cash and Lo don't so much as meet but collide. I thoroughly enjoy the byplay and the way this story shows the complex relationship between two alphas.

I've said it in previous reviews of this author but I love her writing style. How she crosses characters over from other series. If you've read Reign and Monster you know what happens at the beginning of this book. What I didnt connect from the blurb from this book is Willow is actually Lo the leader of the survivalist group Hailstorm.Having met her in the previous two books we knew she was one tough cookie and took no crap from any man.. Well we find out what made her that way in this book when her past comes back with a vengeance.Cash is the brother of Reign and second in command of the MC The Henchmen. He always full of sarcastic humor and a man ho when it comes to the ladies. He's never liked Lo very much and has never understood his body's physical reaction to her when she is near.When Lo's past comes back and leaves her bloodied and bruised she calls in a marker from The Henchmen for protection – as Cash was the one at the MC when she showed up he decided he was the one that would provide that.I believe there is a trigger warning post with this book and that is warranted. Any women who have issues with graphic descriptions of spousal abuse be warned.For me every couples story I've read from this author I've fallen in love with. Cash and Lo may have on the surface had nothing in common but you can see (and believe) that they are perfect for each other.We also get a bigger glimpse into Janie in this one and I so cannot wait for her and Wolf's story.Cudios Ms Gadziala for another great book!

Another good read. Great characters, well written, the words and the pages flow. JG weaves a great story and introduces characters that you (happily) know will be in one of her future books. Which in this case is Wolf, and I can't wait to read it.Part of the story is dark, in that it, involves domestic violence - but that is resolved nicely - having never experienced DV myself, it wasn't hard to imagine the fear or abject terror one would feel if they were in that situation - because JG's words take you there.But ultimately, it's a about a survivor, a strong woman who finds her HEA. I really enjoyed the book, hope you will too.

Cash just loved this Man and Lo grew on me. These booked are extremely well written that also pull you into the world your reading into the next can't put down book . Wolf .... Highly recommend this series and this book 😍

Couldnt wait for Cashs book after reading about him in Reigns book and their was only one woman that could take him on and that was the badass Lo! Both of them dont realise how much they need each other until trouble shows. A fab blend of alpha male, badass female, danger and some hot sex thrown in for good measure!! A great read!

The 1st one I read in this series’s and I just love this series and the writer

Loved Cash...cocky, conceited, sexy and affable. A confirmed bachelor , he never saw the hammer that hit him right between the eyes! That hammer was held by Lo, tough as nails leader of Hailstorm. When she seeks help from the Henchmen after being beaten to a pulp by her ex, Cash takes her to his place and she begins her healing. Along the way these two fall in love.A tough subject is prevalent in this story. Abuse , not only by a husband but by her father before him. Brutal abuse. Trouble is that the husband was a military hero and under no scrutiny. Lo didn't even try to report it as it was implied by her father that it is to be expected in a marriage. Sad to say this is probably true in too many homes today.Good characters! Good story.

The only problem is that I've read book 2 before book 1. Gee, now I'm going to have to go back to the beginning, and then follow on from there. Oh how terrible that will be. So far I've bought four more books by Jessica coz I can't seem to get enough of her. Cant wait to see what I find.
