Heavy but holds a long charge. Plenty of power.
The 5 amp battery is twice as heavy as the 2.5, which might be intuitive but worth mentioning. You get twice the run time though. Depending on the application I find I use the 5 amp for projects away from my shop where my battery supply is not easily accessible. When close to the shop, I prefer to use two 2.5 amp batteries and just switch them out as they drain. This is especially true the chainsaw and weed eater. Either way, this is a powerful system that runs as good as gas powered equivalents with none of the noise or fumes.

Great
The battery will last 30 minutes as long as you use the snow blower on minimum, it takes over an hour to charge completely. Overall I am satisfied with the product.

It doesn’t work if the battery is defective and SunJoe won’t respond
The idea of the system is great and worked well at first. I have the mower, snowblower, leaf blower and just purchased the trimmer. But the 6month old battery stopped working and Sun Joe customer service is terrible! Going on 3 weeks of trying to get the replacement that they said they were sending on June 30. Every time I contact them, they say they will escalate it- but nothing is ever done.

Website's been out of stock for a year and a half but SJ now has them on Amazon? Hmmmmmmm....
My SJ snowblower was wonderful for 2 years. Year 3? Nope. Battery's dead. Snow Joe has been out of stock for nearly 2 years and a CSR told me that they have discontinued the item so they won't be getting any in. Don't know what this listing is all about 'cause they're still out of stock on the website, but I wouldn't wager that much money to find out.I'm steering clear of Snow Joe from now on. Now I need to figure out what to do with this $850 brick in my garage. I can't in good conscience sell it - heck I doubt I could even give it away!

Do not buy.
No batteries, $1500 snowblower is useless. Battery died after 3 y of very light use. The Co. still advertise 100V products without batteries. Scam.
