This is it. This is the one you want. As someone who fosters a healthy obsession for makeup, I don't say this lightly. So what makes this particular product so spectacular? So many reasons, but I am going to limit this review to my 3 favorite ones.1. This is the most recent obvious one, but the price point is clearly fantastic. Mascara is perhaps the most important product in my daily beauty routine, and over the years I have spent money on expensive brands like Dior and Benefit. But at upwards of $20 a bottle, I never felt like these products were paying off. This Maybelline formula is drugstore priced, but high-end quality. This means that you can afford to get a new bottle every month or two to keep your mascara look fresh without breaking the bank. The fact that this product is $6 is absolutely ridiculous- I wish I had been buying it years ago!!2. I love the application wand. It is curved at the end, which gives your lashes a lot of curve, ideal for people who like to skip the eyelash curler in the morning. The shape also makes it perfect for really getting into those small spaces and curves of your lash line that are sometimes missed with a straight wand.3. The formula is, in a word... DREAMY. It is black- the kind of true black that creates such drama and intensity in the lashes. It goes on easily- a few swipes of the wand and your lashes, like the name claims, WILL look almost like falsies. It costs the lashes without feeling thick or heavy, and it is shockingly hard to create clumps (with the amount of volume you get with this product, you would expect MUCH more clumping). I like to use the curved end of the wand to tease out the ends of my lashes to create a beautiful fringe look. The length is like nothing I have ever experienced with other mascara brands- when I use this, my eyelashes LITERALLY brush my browbone... It's amazing.These are just a few reasons to buy this product, but from one makeup aficionado to the next, GET THIS MASCARA. Every SINGLE time I wear it, I get endless compliment on my eyelashes, and at least one person asks me what mascara I use. Every day. That is just the kind of product this is. So, do yourself a favor and buy this, you won't regret it :)*in the picture, I am wearing no makeup other than this mascara. I did not use an eyelash curler and only did a light coat, and THAT is the result... It's amazing <3

Fabulous product. With so many mascara claiming to make your lashes thicker, longer, more this or that, it is very overwhelming to choose just one. I use at least 2 mascaras when putting my make up on for the day; a very thin wand for the bottom lashes & a thicker one for the top. I would give this product 5 stars if the end of the wand was a bit more tapered so the user could easily apply the product. That said, I've used this brand in the past & it worked quite well. The brush is very curved & holds quite a bit of mascara making a single application really all you need. Another coat may be added for a very thick lash look. Due to the curve of the wand, application is easy & even gets the baby lashes in the corners of my eyes on top. I do use it on my bottom lashes occasionally but I tend to over apply & the feathered, lightly applied look is lost & I jam the wand into the corners of my eye. Hence the skinny wand for the lower lashes. Hahaha! I have very sensitive skin & this product has never cause any irritation. It washes off very easily with soap/water yet it lasts & stays in place all day! YAY! The colors are true to their labels. If it says black, it is a rich, velvety black. If it's brownish-black expect a hint of dark brown. This a very good mascara at a very reasonable price. I've used many mascaras over the years. Everything from that terrible pink & green tube of Cover Girl to Giorgio Armani & MAC & many, many other brands in between. At the price this mascara is listed, give it a try & see the hidden gem you've been missing!

My friend asked me the other day what type of mascara do I use?I told her it’s the only I will ever use. Your lashes look amazing.So I sent one to her. And yes she loves it. She text me to say it’s absolutely amazing. I have to agree I’ve used this for years. Will never change it for anything. ❤️👍

Great mascara

This is one of my faves for the Maybelline line of mascaras. The FALSIES Volume Express, color: blackest black. A really deep, dark black to frame your eyes intensely with color and density.The mascara goes on readily with a slightly curved brush attached to a slightly flexible shaft, attached to an easy to hold cap. You can if you like (and I do) build up some thick lashes with minimal effort and great results.This mascara removes with make up wipes or soap and water, and does stay put IMO-a contact lens wearer.If you like volume this is going to provide it. Like and recommend this mascara.
