Good but needs work
The puppet was in good condition and came nicely packaged but the puppet had some malfunctions (easily fixable). Many people including myself had the issue where the mouth couldn’t open or close to well, that is because the jaw hits the neck upon closing, what I did to fix this is use sand paper to shave a bit of the plastic so it closes.

Very cute
Howdy is as adorable as can be. If you are just looking for a toy, this would be great. However, if you are planning to learn vantriloquism, you should invest a little more and get a dummy with lever action for the mouth movement.

Dreams of a 6 yr. old
A gift for my 6 year old great grandsons who wants to be a ventriloquist. He has a lot of fun and loves using the doll.

Extremely Poor Quality
I had high expectations for this because I bought it as a gift for my sons birthday (he loves puppets), but that was short lived! Not only did this not come with the zip bag shown, it was crammed in a box about 2x too small for it. The bag wasn't a major concern, so I figured we'd get past that, but upon pulling it out of the box I could immediately see and feel how extremely cheap it was. Not to mention, the legs were sewed backwards. Defective item maybe? Or simply terrible quality. Returned immediately.

Great Doll and Great Service !!
Was thrilled to get this my husbands favorite Christmas 1953 he got a Howdy Doody and I got him one for Christmas this year doll is perfect and was a great memory and surprise that y’all helped by getting this to me sooo quickly ordered late on Dec 22 when I saw it on line and got it at 3 pm on Dec 24!! Thanks sooo much

Mouth don’t work real but it does work just hard to pull the string should be easier to pull than it is
