I was a little worried that the pole for this rake (that you have to put together) was going to be wimpy, like you find with a Swifter. Boy was I shocked to find these are heavy duty metal pieces and this rake is far heavier than any lawn care tool I have (not including my mower). Seriously, this bad boy can pull up yard waste with no problem. I like the ergonomic handle more than I thought I would. If nothing else, it makes carrying the rake a lot easier. Great product that does the work I needed it to.

I got this for my husband to use, but think I'm going to pre-empt him on which snow shovel I get to use when we are both out there clearing snow off the driveway. It is MOSTLY easy to put together, but it did take some doing to get those bolts to go through where the handles attach. Be prepared to have a rubber mallet handy to tap them through . I stood there looking at it once it was assembled, and thought, "Geez, that is a BIG shovel," but I promptly went out back where snow has piled up and won't melt because of lack of sun exposure, and tried it out. I was really surprised at how well this design works for me. Almost ZERO strain on my back. It does work my arms a little more, but not in a bad way (and the way I see it, I can use the exercise there!), and I had no problem moving a lot of snow in minimal time. The best part? Not hurting everywhere the next day. And it's well made. Sturdy. I'm hoping the mid-shovel handle holds up over time and doesn't snap off prematurely. Time will tell.

Worked well with the limited amount of snow so far this winter. The second handle makes it easier to lift heavy snow. Satisfied

I am able to clear weeds much faster with this hoe because of the ergonomic design. It is a bit heavier than a normal hoe, but it’s the perfect weight to get its edge into the weeds. I’m a little more gentle with this hoe since it does feel a little unstable as it’s not one solid piece, but I prefer it, without a doubt, to a regular hoe.

Redoing the landscape at my home. We are moving the river rock from the back to areas in the front. After shoveling most of the river rock, I needed a sturdy rake to gather the rocks into piles. This rake was perfect for the job! Having the extra handle made raking the rocks, much easier. It quickly made a nice pile of rocks!When you assemble the rake, be sure to notice the directions of the handle and tines. Line everything up before screwing it together.I am very satisfied with this rake as it has stood up to raking rocks, some even bedded into the ground.

The plate is plastic with an aluminum edge. Rest looks solid.
