Sturdy
I've gone through a few loppers. The head on this one is big and sturdy and cuts through thick branches easier than any I've used. I don't like the ratcheting, this one is not, it is simple and effective. The extension is easy. The only improvement I would make is a thicker bar. This is the same bar everyone uses and I've bent them all. Going to be more careful with this one. Great design.

A Useful Tool
These compound loppers are really helpful in cutting branches that you otherwise might not be able to cut without a lot of effort. They make your work much easier, and the telescoping handles really come in handy, even for small branches that you otherwise would not be able to reach. A good pair of loppers, along with a good pair of pruners and an electric pole saw, and you can prune the majority of your needs.

Very good heavy duty lopper.
Purchased these for their long reach and reasonable price. They are a little on the heavy side which is the trade off if you want something that will last and easily cut through one inch diameter branches. People need to realize that in the fully extended mode you need to be careful to not apply too much leverage otherwise you risk breaking them - but this is just common sense which it appears many reviewers do not have. When used properly they are excellent loppers and appear to be quite durable. Very pleased so far and I've used them quite a bit.

Nice anvil loppers , IF you don't abuse them
These are actually some nice loppers , I've been through many sets over the years. None of them are going to last forever if you use them hard like I do. Some reviewers complain of handles not holding up , most likely they are cutting large limbs with them extended. The jaws on these will handle some pretty large limbs for a lopper and sometimes it is better to change up to your saw rather than over stress your loppers. They extend to a nice length and are stout. Common sense should prevail when using and maintaining tools , don't use TOO much force , keep them clean , oiled and sharp and you should get plenty of life out of them.

Nice product and easy to fuse
It was easy for a 81 year old lady to use.

Unfortunately mixed review
Mixed review. Generally does a good job just don't try the max diameter limb. One of my handles is bent. I now cannot set it to the two shortest lengths. It still cuts fine until last week.Last weekend I was cutting a 1/2 inch limb and the anvil cracked and split in two. The anvil unbolts but I cannot find a replacement in the U.S. so far.
