My First Counting Book

Had this book growing up and now my daughter has a copy in her little library!

One of my favorite books as a child!

This is the counting book i grew up with so I purchased it for my own son. The animal drawings are very cute and the animals are easy to count. I like how large each object is so its easy for the child to point to each animal or object as they count. I think the hardest numbers to count are the geese in the sky for #9 because they are in a v-shape and have wings in different positions which makes it visually more difficult for little ones to follow. I also thing the pile of acorns for #10 is more difficult to count because they are dispersed unevenly and are a bit smaller than the usual images to count. The sayings for each number are really cute and engaging, though #5 does not flow as well as the rest of the book.Overall my two favorite counting books are: Ten Tiny Tadpoles and My First Counting Book. Enjoy!

I have loved this book for years. My youngest (17) still loves this book...so much so that when the old one wore out she had us buy a new one. Perfect for the young learner in your family!

Bought for granddaughter. I had this book as a child and wanted my granddaughter to also have it.

Love to pass on to my grandchildren quality stories!

Perfect condition and arrived on schedule

32 years ago my son learned how to count with the help of this book. we used it so much that the pages became worn out. I am so excited to find it for my son's baby to learn from the same book again.

Excellent book to practice your counting and includes lovely rhymes too. Would recommend this book to anyone because it's brilliant.

The book is very small in size (less than a A4 size sheet) and thickness. Certainly NOT worth the price. I bought the hardcover version. The material used for hardcover is very thin and can be easily bent and torn-apart by children. Even the paper used for the pages is of poor quality. The only thing you like about the book is the artwork by Garth Williams. When I was a kid in the 80s, my mother had bought some story books for me (Each of them cost just about Rs 10 back then). Those books were written and illustrated by Russian authors/artists and were translated to Indian languages. Those books were of much higher quality than this one. I have those books even now in very good condition. I bought this one thinking that this would also be of the same quality but disappointed.

This book was a favourite … we had 2 copies one for the car and one for home. It was my daughters first book that she thought she could read herself … she had it memorized …and loved it…buying another one for my grandson … his mother will totally lover it again … her old copies were well used!

Livro fofo para ensinar sobre os numerais de 1 a 10. Os textinhos demandam um inglês intermediário, mas são curtos. As ilustrações são simples, porém fofas. O único ponto negativo é o material do livro que é inferior.
