Scout Skits: A collection of more than 100 favorite campfire skits

Found this book and some skits these guys crack up just reading them.I chose this book because I am new to Scouting and leading a Wolf and a soon to be TigerAs part of a required duty I had to either create my own or keep up traditional skits and this definitly helped me.Price was low enough to buy and try. I will be purchasing the scout songs next.Always be Prepared ✌

The skits included are older than the 2014 publishing date and are showing their age, with many now inappropriate for the current state of Scouting and culture. Still some good starters to give scouts and leaders ideas to get them started.

It has some creative ideas but some just dont make any sense.

Already used it for my cub scout pack camp out skit. Has a variety of skits, easy for the scouts and entertaining. I got the kindle version so I have it handy at meetings and out in the woods.

Organized in a manner that makes it easy for skits. Describes number of participants needed. Helps to make a campfire program successful.

As an Eagle Scout growing up in the 1970s, I wondered where all the corny skits we used to do went....now I know, they are all amassed in this book - which provides a great last minute set of skits for scouts to use during campfires. All the classics are there, and many are variations of the same theme, but well worth the price, and almost essential if your scouts seem to have trouble coming up with skits.

If you've used up all of the skits you remember from your Scouting days, this book is a handy way to remind you of a few old chestnuts and maybe a few new bits. And it could be helpful in a pinch if you need a new skit at the last minute. Out of the hundred there are about 25 I'd be willing to put out on stage. The others are either flat, turn on old or obscure punchlines the kids won't get, or are cringeworthy.

I like this book because there's skits for young scouts as well as older scouts. Most of the skits take a little planning and some props but I was also able to use it on the fly at a recent pack campfire. Definitely a nice go to handbook
