I read a few disparaging reports and watched an install video before purchasing this. It's been on the snout of my 2014 Ram EcoDiesel for a month now and I really like it. It looks stock and fits perfectly.When I had a 1999 Toyota Tacoma, I had a TRD branded bug shield installed on the hood. It was raised up off the hood a bit and had a few bumpers to keep from rubbing the paint. The sharp edges used to snag hoses at the car wash every time. There were occasions when I almost accidentally ripped it off just by snagging something on an edge of the wing. This Aeroskin has proven to be a MUCH better design so far!Pros:1. Fit2. Factory installed appearance- looks clean and sharp.3. No need to clean underneath or behind it.4. Doesn't snag anything on the edges since it lays flat on the hood.Cons:1. Requires two people to install it.

Item came in a damaged package. The retail box is what it was shipped in. Appeared to have been bent in half during transit. Item was not damaged, I thought. There was a lot of "surface skuffs" once taking it out of the plastic it is packaged in. Peeled the protective clear plastic off the edge and it seemed that the "skufgs" were simply on that. Installed the hood protector ony truck without much trouble at all. Easy to follow directions were included. Finally peeled the protective plastic off completely and found that three or four of those skufgs had actually rubbed down into the finish of the item. By this time it was installed, removing it would have resulted in a busted hood protector that couldn't be returned, or possibly do damage to my truck. Didn't have much choice but to leave it on the truck. So word of warning.....if you open it and see ANY marks on it remove ALL the protective plastic off BEFORE installing it. Make.surenyou get a good product. After all it's a piece of cheap plastic, and it cost almost as much as my bull bar made of polished stainless did. Looks good on the truck so I'm still giving it 4 stars.

I love my new Bug Shield and it worked perfectly for my 2016 Dodge Laramie Ram 1500 Crew Cab..I ordered it in Chrome because I wanted to match the rest of the Chrome on my Truck..Easy installation..I highly recommend it

I bought this as a damage package at a discount it came in it was in great shape all of the adhesive was correct with the protective cover on the adhesive this thing was great perfect love it I also ordered a window package the came in and it was not that great somebody had already pre installed it and then put it back in the package after it was damaged so I couldn't use it so I had to send back but it's all good I have another on the way

For the price a person pays for this - the company should at least include tape that's up to the job of holding it SECURELY to a person's vehicle! I've purchased several products from this company, never having a single problem with any of the items in the past.... until now. I meticulously cleaned the entire truck, re-cleaned the area where this item was to be attached and it sealed well all the way around, and was not able to be pulled off. 3 months later (during a warm summer day), I was driving down the highway and nearly had a heart attack when the passenger side gave way and flew up off of the truck! I was within 3 miles of a body shop that has an excellent reputation in my area, so I pulled in there. I told the owner what happened and he smiled and said that he has the SAME PROBLEM WITH THE SAME ITEM, pointing to his truck which did indeed have the same exact one! He said that the company needs a better tape because on his 4-hr trips to northern Minnesota, he has to get out at least twice, to push it back down into place! This is ridiculous!! We recently made the drive from Minnesota to Texas and got less than 3 hours into the drive and the thing let loose while we were on Interstate 35! My husband has never seen that happen before and it startled him as well. He decided right then & there that that was enough of that and literally yanked on it until he got it off and tossed it in the backseat. I'm going to notify the company of this and I would hope that everyone else does this as well and demand that they remedy this problem. Worse case scenario could be it flying ALL the way off of the truck, causing it to become airborne and damaging someone's car, or worse yet, killing someone who may just be out for a walk or a bike ride. This is NOT a case that people are applying it wrong, etc, it is the TAPE that's the problem and they need to send out replacement tape to everyone that's purchased one, or recall all of them and refund the purchase price! End. Of. Story.
