I have bought three sets of these magnets now and I still think they work just fine and are a good deal.For magnets they are on the weaker end. But they hold up a standard piece of paper or two just fine. The ones you get in the package are definitely random on some level. I've got packages with clearly counted amounts of each color and other packages where the colors and sizes I have seem mismatched and uncounted. But I had at least 5 of every color every time I've ordered.I do find that the plastic on them chips easily when they are dropped on the floor. I have destroyed about a containers worth of these magnets over about a year or two. The maganets can come disconnected from the plastic took (though this could easily be fixed with some glue).But I am a classroom teacher and I put these magnets through hell and back with games on my white boards. So they are falling and getting dropped WAY more than the average person is going to see. But given their price, they work very well for me for this purpose as they are so cheap to replace.Overall these are great cheap magnets for anyone to use. I recommend them and will keep buying them.

Yeah, the reason I like these magnets so much is I can turn the big yellow ones into Pacman with a sharpie and the kid cuts out little Pacman ghosts of the various colors and glue-dots them onto the little ones with the little white power pellets in between.Let's just say that if you have an active imagination, a couple sets of these can go a long way in making the fridge make you smile for things other than the ice cream.Only infrequent downside since I bought my first set (and I want to emphasize this has included only three total magnets) quite some time ago is that if they get dropped hard/often enough they can crack... or if you have a system for washing dishes (green is clean, red is dread) to let people know the state of the dishwasher, you can wear these out to the point that the magnet comes loose. Again, this was only an issue for three magnets out of two sets total for me... two cracked from dropping... one the magnet came loose after regular wear and tear over an extended period of time (red for dread but not green for clean... go figure).For the relatively rare downsides, if you like color and variation... and your kid has glue dots and construction paper... there's really no limit to what might be on the fridge next week.

Great basic magnets. These are a nice bundle of magnets, I used these at my office cubicle at work. I purchased these magnets to keep papers in place on my magnetic white board. The hold strength, the size variety, and the quantity of the magnets included is a good value for the price (I paid under $4). However, do not expect these magnets to hold up multiple sheets of paper without using a couple at a time to do so.

I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived in the mail. First of all, there are quite a few of them and they're honestly larger then I expected them to be (the biggest ones are about 1 1/2 inches across). They also have less of an Office Depot feel and more of a fun retro thing going on.I get a little nervous with products like these where they're basically gluing the magnet to plastic. I always feel like eventually the pull of the magnet will cause it to separate and one was separated when the package arrived, but it popped right back in and I haven't had an issue since. The magnets themselves are pretty strong and able to hold 8 sheet of paper without much trouble.

So yes, these are magnets, and yes, they look more or less like what's shown in the picture, but...* They arrived covered in dirt, both packages I ordered.* Some of the magnets were already popped out of the holders. They don't seem to even be glued in, just friction fit. And with how cheaply they're made, I'm expecting more to fail.* The packaging was already busted on arrival on one of the two I ordered, spilling magnets all over the floor. Not a big deal, just another sign these were made with the minimum effort possible.On the upside, the magnets themselves are serviceable. They're smooth; I'm not particularly worried about them scratching up my whiteboard or anything. They're not worth the trouble to return. And that, in the end, is why they get a 1 star review. This is literally one of the most crap-built products I've ever gotten, arriving visibly dirty and falling apart and yet they're so cheap I guess they just get rinsed in soapy water and pressed into service anyway.
