Close, but not exactly the same as Sony MDR-7506 ear pads.
I was initially skeptical about the product. Almost every other seller I looked into was selling each ear pad separately. I didn't see in the listing if this was for a single pad or both. So, I shot a quick email to the seller asking for clarification. They got back to me in under 24 hours that it was indeed for BOTH ear pads! I was stoked to say the least. Such a low price for a pair? Heck YEAH! So I placed the order and in about a week they arrived all the way from mainland China. So far, so good. I busted out my Sony MDR-7506 Studio Monitor headphones and removed the old, tearing ear pads. The first thing I noticed was that these replacements felt, looked and are in fact ever so slightly smaller than the stock pads. I started getting a little worried, but I continued none the less. It took me a little while to finesse them on, and once I did, it was obvious that the were just a tad smaller. HOWEVER.... after a day on the cans, they have stretched to better fit, they are nice and snug, not sliding around like the stock pads were want to do. The only REAL difference is that they do not have the foam padding that goes over the actual speaker part of the headphone like the stock pads do, but I noticed no difference in sound quality or comfort. I am EXTREMELY happy with this product and the seller as well.

These fit well and feel great, good price too for the modest renewal/upgrade
So I've had my well-worn, well-loved MDR7506s for about 8 years now and the finish on the pads has been flaking of for years. These fit well and feel great, good price too for the modest renewal/upgrade. Putting them on were a little tight but I got it done in about 5 minutes...2 pairs of hands may help. The thin piece of fabric covering the drivers appears to be thinner than the foam on the original 7506's. That tells me you may get a slightly more accurate, if not just plain brighter sound as a result. I will see if it's noticeable.fyi, these did come shipped from China but I'm betting the original pads were made there too.

Good enough but not the same as the original
The stock vender earpads are larger and fit more loosely on the Sony MDR-7506. These Leegoal earpads have to be forced in order to fit over the speakers in the headphones. It requires significant effort and dexterity to get these stretched and massaged into place but once installed they work fine. The original vender earpad is much easier to install. It would seem these Leegoal earpads were intended for a slightly smaller set of headphones. These pads fully cover the ears but the fit is a bit tighter on the ear than the original Sony earpads.

Seem small at first, but they stretch and make the headphones look and feel like new.
These earpads are smaller than the ones that came with the Sony headphones. This means there is less room around the ear, making them a slight bit uncomfortable at first. But this is not a real problem, just something to get used to. They are also flatter. Overall, however, the headphones are now like new.REVISION (a couple years later): For the last few years, I have ordered (and re-ordered) what have been described as replacement earpads for Sony MDR-7506 headphones. I am not convinced that the various pairs of 7506's I own are EXACTLY the same size. I am even less convinced that the earpad replacements I have received are either EXACTLY the same size or even the same product. I think the failing here (and I assume this is intentional) is on the part of Amazon's not policing the descriptions of its products as it should.More specifically, however, these earpads have really worked for me. The headphones look and feel brand new after affixing the new pads. "Installation" so to speak is difficult. The fit is VERY tight--so tight that I think some reviewers (initially I was among them) assume they are too small. They probably are not, you just have to work at it.The earpads stretch. They need to be tight so that they will remain in place during use. Work them on with something flat (not too sharp) all the way around until they snap on. Then be sure to tuck the edge of the earpad into the slot just in front of the outer plate of the ear cup.For some earphone sets (and I own several) the earpads have outlasted the small wire on the headphones that naturally wears through (the wire going through the small sleeve on each side). But for the price, you cannot go wrong with these little earpad replacements. Also be prepared for what MIGHT be a long delivery time. I was told they would not arrive for a month after I ordered them. Then, they showed up three days later (another Amazon issue). However, I have found no source that is (eventually) as reliable as this product.

Well worth the effort.
At first seemed hopeless to get them on... but having read other reviews with people saying to just be patient, it can be done... I proceeded. They went on just fine... fit is perfect and feel and appearance is A+. Don't give up at first try.If you dexterity is not the best... let someone who is good at such things do it.I stretched them onto the earphones beyond the lip which the skirt of the ear cushions is to slip into and then pulled them back to where the skirt went into the slot or was helped by me by pushing it in with a thin card. I started at the longest point... and holding it in place with one finger of the hand holding the ear piece... proceeded with the other hand to progressively stretch the ear cushion onto....from that point. Someones help to hold...would make this a lot easier I'm sure.It is well worth the effort once completed. The reward is definitely there for having done it yourself... and the price can't be beat for the qualityI found it necessary to release each ear piece in turn from the headband though....by pulling apart slightly on the clamping / pivot bracket that attaches into the earpiece. It made it easier not having them in the way because my hands are large.
