This bat was purchased to help my son with his batting form. He and a few of his teammates were having issues with the heavier bats I had, so I opted to try the Phantom. The lightweight his ability to get the bat around faster has helped with his batting. The bat is made for Tee balls anything harder will damage the bat so stay away from them. I recommend this bat for younger tee ball players.

My twin 5 year-old boys just started their first year of coach pitch ball and the first bat we bought them was a 26 inch, 16oz bat and they just were not able to swing it as fast and as hard as they really wanted to. This bat is much easier for them to get around on the ball with and I think they will be much happier with it than the heavier bat. We have only used it in the yard practicing but I think this is a great bat for firstyear t-ball or coach pitch kids. I see some kids ofthe same age using much heavier wooden bats that they struggle to even swing around their body let alone makesolid contact with a pitched ball. No reason to start your child off at a disadvantage getting them a bat that is too heavy and I think this bat would work for any kid from 3 on up if they want to practice with a "real" bat not made out of plastic or foam.

My son joined the t-ball league this year and soon the coaches were throwing the ball at these 5-yr olds. My son's new V-bat became pretty popular and at least two other batters would love to pick it up for hitting. It is quite light at 13oz and my son's swings are improving. It is very price competitive as well.cheers

Nice Tee-Ball bat for our 4 year old Grandson. He is able to use this bat without any difficulties and is proud to own his own "Vikram" bat. The only one on his team to have one.

Great bat many of my daughters baseball team want to use her bat instead of theirs.
