Great little beach tent!
I bought this for a trip to the beach with family and am very pleased with it! I set this up in my yard, just to see what it's like so I'd be prepared when on the beach. Very quick setup and the directions were great. Between then and when we went to the beach, I lost the stakes lol... so I found 2 larger stakes in my camping gear and brought those with us. When we got to the beach, we found it was VERY windy. I'm glad we had at least the 2 stakes, but that would not be enough! Thankfully, the tent has 4 pouches on the corners that you can fill with sand! These really helped keep the tent from blowing away. We also had our beach bags inside to help hold it down, but that wasn't necessary. This really made our beach experience comfortable... without it, I'm sure we all would have been burnt to a crisp and sandblasted (the wind was blowing the sand). We spent time going back and forth between the ocean and the tent. It has a nice little flap on it that extends outwards, but I put a beach mat on top of that to make the area bigger for the kids and their towels, toys, seashells, and whatnot. Inside the tent was most comfortable for 2 adults... but you could fit probably 4 people inside if you didn't have all the bags and coolers in there, too. It was bigger than most tents we saw on the beach that day.

A must have!
This tent proved to be essential during an extremely hot day at the beach. It didn’t come with directions (weird) and I was a little intimidated by it. However, my 14 year old nephew and I were able to put it together fairly quickly after watching some videos. The tent doesn’t fit a lot of people, but it was mainly used to shield coolers from the sun and allow for a little reprieve when you were trying to get out of the sun. It’s especially good for kids. The wind was kind of pulling the flimsy stakes out, but we had so many heavy things in there weighing it down. Next time, we’ll use rocks or sand to further weigh it down. The tent folds up really easily and is super light to transport.

Decent.
PROS: Light weight and packs small.Fairly easy to assemble, about 2 minutes.I really liked the flaps that go over the windows for privacy, to keep personal belongings hid and to adjust amount of shade. The door is nice to hide personal belongings while away from tent as someone would have to open the door to steal something.Has steaks and sand bags to hold it down, but I didn't need either one as my chairs were enough weight against the ocean breeze.CONS: Not real tall, but that's probably any beach tent. Head would occasionally bump the top of the tent/ velcro from window coverings when 2 people are in there as we had to sit on the sides where the roof starts to dome downwards. No big deal. Not very deep, legs stuck out from tent outside from shade. Again this might be any beach tent, not a big deal.Biggest problem, and main reason this rating is not 5 stars, is that the metal attachments on most segments on the poles came off and the string got pulled through one of the poles. Therefore, had to buy fishing line to "fish" the string back through the pole and glue for the metal attachments...On 3rd night of use while on vacation. No one wants to do a repair on vacation, but only took 10minutes to fix.All that being said, fairly decent tent. I will be taking it on my next beach vacation.

You will love this!!
I purchased this for a solo beach trip to SC. It was small enough to pack into my check bag and extremely easy to put together by myself. There are only 3 poles and the instructions are on the inside of the bag to guide you. Takes less than 5 minutes to set up. There are windows you open/close with Velcro if you want more air flow or privacy. There is a large flap that you can close up of it’s raining or if you want a quick nap.I didn’t use the stakes in the sand, only filled the sand bags. They kept it down and I didn’t worry about it taking flight. It does lift up slightly in the front if it’s very windy, but I’m sure you can rig something stronger with the stakes. Packing up was simple too- just take out the poles, fold, and roll the tent up! Voila! Off to your next adventure!

Cheap and Painful!
Brought this tent for a family beach vacation in Michigan. Upon assembly, shards or fiberglass were impeding in my fingers, hands and forearms from the tent poles. Painful and itched for days. Used once and won't use it again. Also difficult to assemble with one person in any kind of wind. Look elsewhere!

Doesn’t give much shade at all it said you can fit up to four people
It is good sized was easy to set up, but there is no enough tent for shade. it said you can fit up to 4 people but only if you crowd into the back with no chairs and even then no real shade. I will have to invest in an umbrella. It is a nice area to store a cooler and towels but if your looking for a shaded seating area this is not it.

Sturdy, lightweight, but little harder to set up
Came in a much more compact carrying case than I expected, and super lightweight as well! That only means that folding things back up needs to be neat and organized in order for the tent to fit back in. Once you understand how to set it up, the only difficulty is getting the poles to securely fit into the holes as they are super tight on the ends (making for a sturdy build). Taking apart the tent is equally difficult for the same reason, but it isn't too difficult once you get the hang of it. Ease of folding the tent was 3/5 since the tent material itself may be flimsy at times. Overall, quality of the tent once set up is top notch with nice shade and windows and is super lightweight/compact, but you may need to note that it is a bit of a struggle to set up and tear down. The inside is also cool material, even my dog wanted to go in!
