A spray dye in a can that didn’t ‘spray’!!
I used this to colour the seat pads and a thin strip of upholstery on the backs of two dining chairs. The spray started off well, with good pressure and was easy to control. Within a few minutes the tin seemed to lose pressure and a thin dribble of dye came out which then made things difficult in terms of even coverage. I’m quite used to using spray paints, having done many furniture renovations recently. This product was was poor quality in that the actual can did not produce a constant, even flow of dye. I ended up spraying it into a jar and dabbing it on with a paintbrush. In terms of coverage I’d say the area I wanted to cover was less than a metre square and I barely managed two coats. I would need 2 tins of product but I decided not to continue as I did not like the colour; I bought charcoal grey and it came out too dark (dyeing over cream fabric, it was nearly black). On the plus side, the fabric wasn’t stiff, post dyeing, and it did seem to be colourfast with no transfer after 24 hours.

This was very useful for spraying discoloured parts of a carpet
This was very useful for spraying discoloured parts of a carpet. I used a 'massaging' brush to evenly spread the paint as I sprayed along and it worked really well as it banished the discoloured patches. I had to spray 3 times (leaving carpet to dry out each time before repeating) to get desired results. Texture of carpet was slightly hardened after drying but soon returned to normal. I am giving it 4 stars cause I think it a bit pricey.

Not for velour.
I was disappointed with finish as it left the material hard so I wouldn't recommend it for velour type material. One of the tanks seemed to be blocked as soon as I started to use it as it came out in a jet rather than a spray. I had to use a brush to spread it evenly. The other can was much better and covered the chair quite well. I liked the fact that it wasn't strong smelling and coverage was pretty good, but it took the two cans to cover a fairly small chair and I did have to use a brush to even the colour. Not a bad product .

Has a tendency to jet stream and blob.
I bought this product to cover an armchair that has damask fabric which I like, but i needed to change the colour. The spray is easy enough to use, but every now and then the nozzle doesn't spray it jets and blobs. I had prepared myself for this through reading other reviews and made sure that i didn't spray for long durations and continuously shook the can to ensure blending but suddenly it would jet spray and blob. I managed to spray one side of a cushion with my technic and then realised that almost half a can had gone already, so bearing everything in mind, i personally wouldnt bother buying it as I feel that for the money that it cost for such a small amount of paint and because of it not spraying correctly ( I have sprayed many things in my life) and the potential to ruin he look of something because if the jetting and bobbing wouldn't buy it.

Renovated nicely
It does take some preparation and thought because you are spraying. Obviously you want to just spray that item. We renovated a grey fabric headboard which had faded on the edges. We gave the headboard a light dusting, concentrating on the faded areas. We picked a warm still, dry day so we could do it outside. It dried very quickly and evenly over the fabric. I am pleased with the result and we have half a can left.

Great product
Who knew such a product existed! I bought a tub chair second hand and changed it from a bright garish pinkish/red to burgundy. I did buy the grey colour fabric paint but because the red was so dominant it took two cans of paint to get it to burgundy. So the results will depend on what you are trying to change. I would recommend this product.

Jet not spray, one can can only cover one cushion
Please read all other comments, as I clearly didn't.The product does produce very nice colour, however this is NOT A SPRAY ! It comes out as a jet of paint. It is impossible to spray this in a thin layer and to spread evenly, it comes out as a gush of paint.I'm trying to spray the fabric of our stroller as it faded with the sun, I thought one can should be able to cover the canopy and the cushion. In the end I've only managed to cover the cushion. Knowing this is around £15 per can, I would had required 2 and it would be far more economical to just bite the bullet and buy a completely new cover for our stroller.
