As a teacher, I have so many decisions to make; I don't need to reinvent more wheels. I appreciate that this book just lays it all out for me clearly. Yes, there are plenty of options, but I figure why mess with perfection? I just want a vegetable garden that provides a selection of vegetables. I bought it late in the season so I can plan for next year. I'm really excited, and I don't have to figure it all out!!

Love how they divided up the book by month and they include as great photos. This is a gift, but I’ll buy myself One now that I’ve seen the layout of the book

A great book and it has provided some great insight and knowledge on how to garden this way. I am excited to put the knowledge and tips in this book to use as I grow my garden this year.

I've been a novice/wannabe gardener since November 2016.I've experimented. I've read blogs. I've read the books. I've read seed catalogs. I've searched Pinterest. I purchased a ton of garden planners. I remained very confused.It seems to me that most authors and instructors forget what it's like to be new. They dazzle with words and concepts that are quite advanced and extremely intimidating to the new gardener.Not Huw! I understood every word in this book. I understood his instructions. I know exactly when to start seeds (and HOW!!) I am very excited for my 2020 garden, thanks wholly to this book.It has a permanent home on my reference shelf, as well as a guide in my weekly garden planning!

Really love the way this book is set up. Very detailed plans and tips. Great, clear explanations and photos. Alternatives listed as well. Love the step by step help. I love to garden but I definitely need the hand holding.

Nice hard cover, thick pages, good pics BUT it appeared to be a reprint from the 50's. They did the same information in many different ways but it was the same information. Very dissappointed.

I highly recommend this book for beginning gardeners as well as intermediate gardeners who like a month to month gardening plan. This has great tips, illustrated pages, and monthly chapters.
