Amazing flagship phone for the price point.
After having used this phone for a good couple of days I can honestly say that it was well worth the upgrade. Prior to this phone I was using a Xperia XZ1 compact, a very capable smartphone even today. However much I appreciated the small form factor, I just felt that the screen was too small and the 720p resolution was lacking slightly. I was considering the XZ2 Premium with its 4k screen in order to stay loyal to Sony but I didn't like the large bezels. So after some extensive research, I came across this smartphone from OnePlus. Compared to other flagship phones this phone offers more features than its competitors at even a lower price. It boosts some very amazing features that I just couldn't ignore:The things I like:Comes with an adequate caseGreat horsepower - snapdragon 855 + 8GB Ram chews through any application or game with amazing smoothness. The 90hz QHD 6.67inch all screendisplay is just amazing to look at be it watching YouTube or movies or just simply reading news articles. Scrolling is seriously smooth, the difference may be subtle for long time users of 60hz but honestly I don't want to go back.High capacity and fast storage - more than I'll ever need, that's for sure!Sound quality is great and loud enough for comfortable movie watching. The quick charging is insanely fast. Both the front facing and rear facing cameras for me are more than adequate, photos are clear and look great - better look at reviews on YouTube for better in depth look. I like the pop up camera especially in regards to privacy concerns. The things I don't like so much:The battery life is seriously hampered - getting approxiamtely 7 - 8 hours (still respectable) with on and off intensive use. Switching to lower resolution and from 90hz to 60hz will improve battery but I have yet to test by how much. Definitely a phone that requires a top up after a day of usage. No headphone jack is probably the biggest gripe - adds the chore of having to charge Bluetooth headphones. The lack of a headphone dongle being supplied is unfortunate. The price is expensive but for what you are getting it can be justified. Some minor software thingsIn conclusion this phone is not for everyone. For me this phone had everything I was looking for whilst unfortunately taking one key feature that I will continue to miss (rip headphone jack). If you are looking for a phone with ultra smooth performance, an all screen display then this is the phone for you.I myself am shocked that I spent £700 on a smartphone but I believe the price although steep is worth it for the features you get in return and hopefully the future proofability this phone will have.I hope this short review helps you in your decision.

Oh That Screen!!!
There has been a lot said about this phone and people seem to forget that you are getting a phone with 8gb ram and 256GB Rom for the price now of £599. Yes, the phone drops wireless charging and also a proper IPS rating. Setting up the phone was easy and originally I bought the Oneplus pro 7t but I found that I didn't like the waterdrop notch or the horrible camera bump at the back even if it was £50 cheaper so I sent it back and ordered this instead. I have never felt wow before at any phone but with this one I did, I bought it in Grey colour as I found the blue of the 7t a bit much and the nebula blue really didn't do anything for me. The software performance and implementation is the high point for me off the phone it is so smooth and it feels like you are just flying through the OS I would go as far as to say I prefer it more than stock android. My fav mode is the reading mode on the phone where it turns your whole phone black and white which makes it great for extended periods when you are using the kindle app or reading a long article. What I like most of all is the polish of the OS it's clear that Oneplus has spent a lot of time on this. I know that people will be reading this article wanting me to comment on the camera but to be honest I am one of the few people who really don't care that much about the camera as when I get serious about photography I would be using my DSLR camera. So far for a quick snap, the quality is really good I have yet to try it in low light. One of the reasons I was so happy with the phone was that the front-facing camera was tucked away so I will never have to see it or bother with it. My main surprise on opening the box was thinking that this phone was going to big so big that It would be hard to use. As a woman with smaller hands and fingers, I have to state that I find it really easy to use and it's not as heavy as some comments are making out. Listening to music and watching videos is fantastic on this phone as it was made so you can consume media and with 256gb storage, it can take a lot. I was pleasantly surprised that this phone made my cheap Bluetooth earphones sound decent. So far I haven't met a game that I cant play in a high setting yet and it cuts through them without a problem. If someone told me I could get so much for £599 I wouldn't believe them. This phone has incredible performance and the battery life has taken through a day and a couple of hours through the next. Warp charging is a modern-day wonder and the speed of phone charging is amazing. I have no problem in recommending this phone as Oneplus have done an excellent job. The reason that I haven't given the face recognition a grade is that I don't use the front camera and the face recognition is not as secure and using the fingerprint scanner. Just a small, note that voice calls are very clear and speaking to friends and family they have no problems in hearing from me.

Beats and iPhone
I had an iPhone ever since the 4s and this thing beat everyone of them hands down. It has a huge amount of storage and the battery is fabulous! iPhone can't hold a candle to this! It is lightweight and fits in my hand easyily without straining my hand or arm

Buy this phone
This phone has been one of the best Android phones I've ever had. Battery life is amazing, screen is amazing, camera is actually competent. I do not regret cancelling my Pixel 4 XL and buying this one instead.

Amazing phone for amazing price with great specs and camera
I've been a Samsung customer for over 7 years and had a huge concerns over OnePlus 7Pro. Unfortunately Samsung does not sell Snapdragon_855 in the US with their Galaxy S10+, but OnePlus do. Totally loving it!

Worked with both ATT and Verizon
Got the Pro Dual Sim version and it instantly worked on both Verizon and ATT. It also did not come with a lot of the preloaded apps that hog memory. Which I like a lot.
