With my thick hair these are a godsend for Texas summers. They help to keep my medium length hair off of my neck and cool me though more quickly. The color blends in well with my hair,too.

I’ll throw these in my travel bag for spares, but no way I could use them as regularly as I did the old ones. Too flimsy.My Mom used hair bands like these in the 60s, 70s, and 80s to make beautiful updos. I kept a few from her things after she passed away in the 90s, and now—years later—one of them finally broke. I decided to get some replacement spares, so I purchased these and was very disappointed in the low quality.Side by side comparison (see photos: new ones on the left, old ones on the right), it’s painfully obvious how thin and flimsy these are compared to the old school hair bands I inherited from my Mom. They’re smaller, thinner, flimsier, and don’t even have half the tensile strength. They might work for a few uses with really thin fine hair, but if you have average or thick hair, no way. I definitely would not purchase these again.

I have used these same type headband tooth combs many times over the years, but they were better quality. These were thinner quality and would not hold their shape and stretched very large easily. I do not have thick hair at all and expected it to be a better stronger product. Wish I could give more stars but can't.

Works well. So difficult to find in stores anymore. Thinner than what I'm used to but is fine for keeping loose hair from falling from ponytails.

My sister has these and I thought they were so cool so that I can wear my puff. The style looks great and I'm glad I got to try them but I prefer snapees. Like this product was good for the price and did what I wanted it to do. So yes 5 stars. I have 4c hair like my sister's but she thinks these are practical for our hair type and I don't like taking it out at the end of the day. And when you stretch it for a while, it stays like that. I think my hair will end up breaking them at some point.

Not worth 50 cents. Will not stay together ~ when I finally get it on my hair without it coming apart immediately, it will pop apart within about 30 minutes and fall off.I've worn headbands like this for years. They are out of fashion right now, so unavailable locally. Tried & tried to find a replacement for my old one, which has been losing its elasticity, so tried this brand ~ and ended up having to use my old one anyway because this one doesn't even stay in my hair.You can see how cheaply it's made by looking at the pic of it beside my old one. This purchase is the one on the left (light brown) ~ comparing to an old one made by Goody on the right (black). You can see that the new one has very thin plastic in the part that hold it together in a circle. The thin plastic stretches out of shape & has no "bump" to secure the prong so that it won't come apart during use, whereas good ones are a bit thicker and have a way of securing the prong (see the bump on the top of the black one).A total waste of money ~ and a reminder that we get what we pay for.

These are really nice! Good quality and stretch good but not too much they don’t do the job!!! Highly recommend
