Check the power of your drill first.
Hmmm looked good in principle but I used two drills and neither of them had the power to split the logs. So in theory a good idea. In practice how many of use own a drill powerful enough to make it work?

Appears good quality
Bought for my son, as a gift for Christmas, so unable to comment on the durability, but appears to look fairly good quality.

Don’t buy this product!
Item arrived on time and was delivered professionally. That’s where the good news ended…… I unwrapped the item, inserted the adaptor into my drills chuck and screwed it in firmly and then during the first use the thread on the attachment rounded off leaving the tool useless.Very disappointing, worse than useless!

Short work of splitting logs
Using my 18v DeWalt drill makes short work of already split logs hardwood and softwood. The logs we get are already split but they're too big to fit in the fire so this splits them again very easy to do. Although the drill does need to be in gear 1

only for thin wood
i can see the appeal behind this tool....but...if you only have wafer thin pieces of wood then it might be useful to split them.but concerning thicker wood forget it,logs? are you serious? forget it.you need a mammoth drill to split anything with it..dont bother unless you want to twist your wrist and mess your drill up to

Serious power drill must be needed
This looked to be a cracking idea, saw some on YouTube and thought yeah, perfect for those cold nights when the husband is sent out when it’s dark, cold and normally wet for the “can you just do a bit of kindling”.The delivery was amazing and very fast next day delivery, excellent, I had a battery on charge for my power drill ready and raring to go, but sadly nope, it must be either my drill isn’t powerful enough or the logs I was trying to split were the wrong type but after trying a few and all that was happening was it would get jammed in the wood I gave up, this was supposed to save me time and effort (plus being fun while doing it), sadly as Norway used to get, nil points. The on,y splitting was from my wife laughing at my attempt to split smaller and smaller logs to the point where they would already fit on the fire.A shame as quick delivery and the idea was good, so I’m having to return my wife’s Christmas present and will need to look to get her something else, I’ve just seen an offer on ironing boards,so that’s tempting.

Super splitter!
Excellent little splitting tool, had it in my Bosch 10.8 and my 3 year old could happily make me kindling with it. Very simple but very Cleaver!

Nope
Yeah - Logs + Hammer Drill = Nope and a broken drill. Probably a good product but not with a domestic drill.
