Better and lasting longer than one I got locally.
Works great, outlasted my new one I got locally (burn up in a week), This one seems better built and works like a charm! This one has been going for several weeks and no signs of letting up. Saved a ton, was almost ready to buy a new A/C compressor, but now I don't have to!

Great motor poor assembly/packaging
When the electric motor arrived one of the capacitor covers was knocked off and the capacitor was just hanging there and after having to stretch the cover back out I was able to secure everything back down and it's worked awesome with no issues so far on my air compressor. I was sckeptical at first because of the price but it's blown me away so far!

Get your motor running!
Great motor so far. Runs cool and quiet. Bolted right up to my compressor tank. This is powering a Harbor Freight Central Pneumatic brand 2 cylinder pump rated for a 5hp motor. I have mine under driven just a hair at 850 RPM, the normal RPM is 1050. It produces a little less CFM but runs much quieter, cooler, and still fills up my 60 gal in a few minutes. This is in a home shop so it only sees light weekly use. I will try to remember to update this review in a year to see how the motor is holding up.

Lasted 2 months... Warranty Update...
Installed in a Bel-Aire Compressor, lasted a few days over 2 months before all the magic smoke escaped the motor... We'll see how they handle the warranty.UPDATE: Called the manufacturer, they denied the warranty claim on a 2 month old motor. Stated that Amazon was not an authorized retailer of their product. Waiting to see if Amazon will honor the warranty.

It works Great. I had to modify the mount on my compressor but that was probably my fault from not checking the mount pattern on the motor. I will order more when needed. Thanks for the FAST service and shipping Pat T.

I had to long gate the holes on my compressor ...
I had to long gate the holes on my compressor mounting pad because the motor 56 frame mount is not correct. Then when I fired it up SPARKS flew from the back of the motor. I have no idea why this happened.I hope I don't have problems down road. I would have sent it back but I was broke down dead in the water so I butchered my compressor mounting pad. Its not the way to go, but I was in a bind.
