Fantastic emergency containers!
I recently sent these water containers to my son who lives in Florida before the rash of hurricanes. When I say they are well worth the price, I mean it! He filled them and kept them as backups in case he lost water. Electricity went out in his area and he ran short on bottled water but he was secure knowing he had these containers full of water as backups for him & his two dogs. I highly recommend these for anyone in any area of the US. Natural disasters hit every area at inopportune times but with these containers on hand, worrying about extra water just took back seat to other supplies. Be sure to check emergency sites to determine how many containers your family might need for 72 hours to 1 week without potable water. I highly recommend these containers!

Too Flimsy
It’s got a lot of things going for it that work out well for me. It has one fatal flaw though. The threaded portion that the spout attaches to, is made of the same soft plastic. I’ve tried numerous times and it either leaks, or the spout pops off. End result is the same, I’m out of water.

It’s the right side and not to heavy when full of water to carry.
It’s exactly what we needed for camping and already another.

Does the job cheap...
I like that these bottles are so cheap, have free shipping, are a white see through color so that I can see the water level and see if there is anything that should not be inside in it, have a removable spigot on the side, and they are collapsible. The bottles are relatively thinner plastic so I will not use that feature much in order to not stress out the bottles. They do the job for the cheapest amount of money I've found and that's basically what I like them for. I will get heavy duty quality water bottles in the future, I think.Update 4-24-13I also like that these bottles are really easy and very lightweight to carry. I leant some to my mother and she loved them. They're very easy to carry compared to a standard 5 gallon water bottle, even the wide mouth blue bottle with the tap. Although I like both.I did get the bottle that leaked. It had a torn seam right out of the box. I had read that could happen in the reviews. I wish they were made sturdier, and then they'd be almost perfect. But, if you're willing to bet that you don't get too many leaky bottles, this is good. I think I would in the future just because of all of the great things about it. I'll see and I'll update my review later.

Great Product and Glad I Have it "Handy" for emergencies or camping
I bought this for "peace of mind." But I'll probably take it on a future "cabin camping" trip, too. But yep, if a winter storm is coming in , I keep jugs of water in the home and garage -- I always remember having to boil water a few times, when power went out, and we got the "boil water" notice. Rare -- but it happens. Very heavy plastic, but it's still foldable for storage.

I like it but... it leaks!
I like it but... it leaks! (More details below.)Pros:1) The spigot is ON THE BOTTOM so it's actually usable.2) If you set it so the spigot is on the edge of your table it points straight down and...3) It doesn't randomly fall off the edge of the table as you use it (unlike some other similar products I've used).4) The spigot runs slowly (I consider this a feature, not a bug. When one is off-grid, water conservation is more important than convenience).Cons:1) It leaks! It leaks around the threads where the spigot attaches. It leaked from day one! It's only a slow drip, but still very annoying. That being said, I was able to fix the leak by wrapping a piece of PTFE tape (aka pipe thread tape aka plumbers tape) around the threads onto which the spigot screws. Now it's a mild inconvenience but not a big issue.Overall: I like it, now that I stopped the leak.

Carrier takes 45+ minutes to empty
I gave this two stars because it does one thing well, it holds water. The big problem is that it holds onto it far too well. If you are purchasing this to transfer water, it is horrible. The spout is small and it creates a vacuum in the tank, the result is that it takes about 45 minutes for this carrier to empty when it is hung by the handle and the valve is opened all the way.We have a pop up trailer, and when we camp where there aren't water hook ups, we have to use something like this to haul water and refill the 25 gallon on-board tank. My system is to hang a carrier like this from a camera tripod and open the valve to drain the water into the trailer tank. I bought two of these so I could empty one while I was filling the other. Because these empty so slowly, it would take me close to 4 hours to fill the trailer. The carrier I had before I bought these was from a company called Reliance, they are more expensive but it seems like the extra cost is 100% worth it for what I need this for.I decided to add some pics of what I ended up doing. I went to Cal Ranch and bought 2' of braided vinyl hose with a 1" OD, then I cut out the inside of the valve and stuck the hose through it. Now it empties in about 15-20 seconds and works like a champ, it doesn't shut off but for what I will use it for it works. I'm going to leave the rating at two stars because if I was purchasing this and was using it as it comes, it would SUCK!!!

Pliable plastic and good handles
A must have for camping or if you just need a source of water to be dispensed while away from a faucet. Before, I would always buy the 2.5 gallon rectangular water containers from the grocery store and they would double as drinking water, as well as faucet water for hand and face washing, since they have a sort of valve or dispenser. This carrier makes things easier because it is much easier to refill and the faucet works smoothly allowing you to open and close the tap easier. As the water is dispensed, its pliable design collapses it which makes transport and storage easier when empty. The handles seem solid enough to move the carrier around when full and allow you to stand it up in a couple of different ways without being so flimsy that it easily falls over.

I bought a few knockoffs of these from the dollar store because I figured what difference does it make?!? Well, it's a difference between having a water carrier and having wet shoes and a busted piece of cheap plastic. These are great because they pack down to nothing, you can walk them to a water source anywhere (provincial camp ground or other) and haul them back to camp without them breaking on you. So yes. Durable. Though I suspect if you place them on a sharp stump or rock you're asking for it. Definitely NOT for backcountry camping. Sweet mother they're heavy. I guess that makes them great for fitness nuts that need to get in some bicep curls next to the fire pit?Keep in mind it's important to clean them out. Little bleach and hot water slosh when you get home, then leave the cap off in storage to let the water vapours completely evaporate. Otherwise you end up getting that funky smell over time.

Ligero, resistente y gran capacidad
Súper compacto, no pesa casi nada, no fuga agua y es muy practico para acampar, ir de picnic o para cortes de agua en la ciudad.

Decent product
This works well. It's nothing fancy, holds water, but slowly leaks around the tap. It just drips, doesn't bother me because we use it outside only and just turn it so the tap is in top when we aren't using it. Its pretty much what I would expect for the price.
