GAN Speed Cubing, GAN Speed Cube, 3x3, Tiled Scratch Proof Gans Magic Cube 3x3x3 Puzzle Toy Black (2020 GSC)

Not a speed cuber, but I used to be able to solve the 3x3 many years ago. Decided to pick it up again as a desk toy. No contests for this guy.I like the way it feels. Easy to move, and doesn't catch like the original cubes do. Looks like it may be lubricated with a silicone or lithium grease. It has enough tension that I almost can't spin with a single finger without upsetting the perpendicular blocks.The tiles are a nice difference. No sticky or moving colors to worry about. Other than the GAN logo on the middle white tile, there are no manufacturer markings. I am happy about this, as too much advertising = no buy from me.Mine came with a 3-way plastic adjustment tool, but no instructions how to use. I'll have to do some research.I received 2 solve instruction booklets, both in Chinese/Asian, which contain a bunch of pictures, but no real explanation. I'm guessing they're expecting more experienced players to buy it. I will have to use the original instructions that come from Rubik's.

I was very impressed with this cube, it is much smother turning than my Duncan speed cube I've been using. And I like that all the pieces are anchored so no falling apart on me.It has also helped increase my speed slightly. Even though I am no way near being competitive, I still like being able to beat the speeds I performed back in the 80s.

The cube is great quality and spins so smoothly. There's no breaking in needed and no rigidity or sticking points. It doesn't have stickers so peeling at the corners is of no concern. Most importantly, it has held up to my 2 year old playing with it occasionally. That's a huge plus since he occasionally gets a hold of it!

I did not expect this cube to be the best for the price. However, I did not expect it to be this good either. It’s built with Rubiks quality. If you want a fast Rubik’s cube, you won’t be disappointed

This is the first cube I have purchased. It came with a tuning tool and upon taking it apart it seems to have been lubricated.I like the cube, but it is frustrating to have it moving around (albeit only slightly) when trying to solve and I wonder if getting a cube with magnets would help with this. At this point in my cubing career I’ll stick with this one. ;)It moves so nicely and seems worth the cost. Much better than the Rubik’s brand. Now to try to remember these algorithms to solve this thing. I’ve been learning from JPerm’s videos on You Tube which have been incredibly helpful.

Bought it as a gift for my grandson. He is 10 years old and he is obsessed with this Cube. I think that it's suitable for people of different age level. The quality is very high. It's very easy to twist it.

Glides nicely when turning. Nice and quiet compared to $10 cubes. Cuts corners fairly easily. Vibrant colors. Tiled rather than stickered so still looks brand new.

My brother loves this cube - everyone who touches it loves how smoothly it moves compared to the version we grew up with.
