Good for the light-sensitive sleepers
$8?! What a price! Very convinient and handy for travel as well. They are nice and comfy, and I like that they're adjustable. My only precaution would be if you have pets- they will acquire cat hair pretty quick and become itchy. Just a simple clean would take care of that. I like them a lot.

Great New Sleep Mask
Ok. I had an old sleep mask which fell apart, so I decided to do some research and get a new nicer mask. This came highly rated and it did not disappoint. It is super comfortable, blocks out any light, and I feel it is helping me get better sleep. I would definitely recommend.

Blocks the light and easy to sleep in!
This is the fourth time I've purchased these over many years. They are the best for keeping out light due to the padding at the bottom of the mask. They are comfortable and soft on my face. I also have a CPAP machine, with two straps around my head. This mask doesn't interfere with the CPAP and the elastic is not intrusive (I wish I could say the same for the CPAP's straps). They are definitely durable, however, my last two could not stand up to being stolen by a very active teething puppy. So what did I do? I bought three more.

Great for smaller faces/head
I used a Dream Essentials eye mask for years (different ones), but always had an issue with it coming off during my sleep. My face is rather small, I'm a 5'2 inch woman weighing about 125 to give some reference. While I love the Dream Essentials mask for it's great coverage, I had it pulled to tightest it would go, and after some wear and washings, it simply stretched out and was too big. I bought this Lewis N. Clark thinking I'd give it a try. It's much cheaper than the Dream Essentials, and I'm really glad I tried it. It's got a small, plastic clip in the back to tighten. When I saw this, I was a little nervous as to how well it will hold up, hopefully for a while! I can pull the strap tight enough and the clip is slim and unnoticeable when laying on my back. It lets in ZERO light, just what you need in a sleep mask. I also like that there's no elastic on the sides like the Dream Essentials to get stretched out. It's very soft and comfortable. I'll post later if I notice any stretching out/negative wear. Save yourself some $$ and get this one!****I've been using the mask for a few months now. I still like the way it fits and the coverage it offers. BUT, I have to say, IT STAINS EVERYTHING! The outside of the mask is navy blue, while the inside (the part that covers your eyes) is black. The blue side has stained my pillow case, my sheets, and bed comforter! I'm not sure why or what kind of die they use, but I now have one sheet set that I'll use because I don't want to ruin anymore sheets and pillow cases. This has made me very disappointed in the product. For that, I'd take away 2 stars. It does what it's intended to do, but who wants to ruin their bed linens? Oh, and I have washed it a couple of times thinking this would help, no such luck.

definitely the softest/comfiest eye mask I've ever used
This eye mask fits almost every criteria for a good mask by my standards.Pros:1) Adjustable, without causing discomfort - you are able to make this fit perfectly, without adding terribly painful pieces of plastic or scratchy velcro. It uses a minimalistic buckle that I can barely tell is there.2) cushioned - there are very subtle cushions on the interior of the mask that not only make the mask more comfortable, but create a "seal" that blocks out the light more effectively.3) blocks light - I guess the most important question is, "does this actually do its job?" It definitely does. It successfully eliminates 100% of all light, and does not transmit any light through it's fabric.4) washable - I like to keep these clean, and this mask holds up well to weekly hand washing with antibacterial face soap. It has not started to become scratchy, and the fabric has not started to fade/stretch/break-down/etc.Cons:1) A little large - I generally like my eye masks to be on the smaller side, so I suppose this is more of a personal preference, especially given the variations in the size of people faces. However, I do feel that this mask is on the larger size as far as eye masks go.I think this is a great eye-mask, and if it were only smaller, I would purchase a handful more to have for years to come. Considering its price, I highly recommend at least giving it a try and determining if the size is acceptable for yourself!

Blocks light and comfortable
Large enough to keep light from sneaking in, and comfortable.

I've tried eight different brands -- this one is the best for me.
If you tend to wake up a few hours early being short on sleep, yet have trouble getting back to sleep, try a sleep mask! They work like magic for me. -- better than any pill! I must have thin eyelids, because when it's dawn and my eyes are closed, I see orange, (my wife sees black). A sleep mask quickly gets me back into a deep, satisfying sleep, as though it were midnight. (It also gets me into a deeper, more productive sleep during limited timeframe naps.) It's like putting a cover over a birdcage, (birds automatically sleep/wake-up when you cover and uncover their cages, like a light switch.) I swear by sleep masks when I need deep, effective sleep within a limited timeframe. I've tried eight different brands -- this one is my favorite, so I've bought two more. It has a decent 1/2 inch elastic band, is the fuzziest and most comforting, fits most comfortably, and most effectively blocks light leaks/diffusion. (Also feels warm and cozy in the winter, yet is still good for summer.)
