This K&N filter is the 4th I have installed in the last 4 cars & trucks I've owned. Even though my 4.2 liter V6 Envoy is pushing 250,000 miles the added pep and increased fuel efficiency are most definitely noticeable.I'd just completed a full tune-up and had increased my mileage by 15%. The K&N arrived about 2 weeks afterwards. While plugs & wires increased my mileage from 14.2 to 16.3 mpg, the addition of the air filter increased my mileage from 16.3 to 19.5 mpg! That's a 20% increase in efficiency.As a bonus, throttle response is also improved and the motor hums in a satisfying baritone. At this rate, my investment in the K&N air filter will save me 200 gallons of gasoline over the first year, as I drive 25,000 miles annually. That's a tenfold ROI, not to mention that I'm done buying air filters!

Edit: I’ve owned the product for two year’s now. The filter has cracked and broken forming a hole near where the filter secures to your vehicle. I’ll edit this again when I have concluded my experience with their customer service and warranty program.This is a tough product to beat for the price. I noticed immediate performance improvements with this air filter, my frequent check engine light has even turned off after installing the filter.Installation is a breeze, the product is solid and comes with a sticker and warranty card.

When I was young and stupid, I would buy Fram air filters because they were cheaper. My Envoy would barely run at old lady speed, so I went with ACDelco. They are good and the vehicle ran good, but big $$$ so I bought the lifetime K&N. My SUV runs so much better off the line and also quicker engaging passing gear. Don't really know yet if it helps with MPG, but I don't really care much either. Performance is paramount with this driver and this filter helps tremendously in that category. Definitely highly recommend.

Didn't see a power increase, but helped with the fuel economy by a couple of points.

I have been a K&N fan ever since I was given one by a friend that just happened to fit my vehicle. I noticed immediately more power especially the truck I had was underpowered to begin with. I have since used them and have one going on 8 years and still working and only had to clean and recharge once so far.

Put this on GMC envoy which had some stutter but now doesn't really needed better air intake.

Use K&N in all our vehicles. Did not notice change in performance or in gas mileage. At least it can be cleaned and not replaced.
