IONZ 6-Way Horizontal 13A Switched 19-Inch PDU Standardised Power Distribution Unit Surge Protected (with 1 x front LED)

Bought two for a rack case housing band mixer and IEM systems - work great and give a wealthy finish to the system.

I purchased the IONZ 6-Way horizontal 13A switched 19-Inch PDU standardised power distribution unit with surge protection for use with aquatic equipment rather than an office setting.This was ideal as I was able to securely attach the power strip to the inside of my aquarium base unit. Being black, it is barely visible and the 2 metre cable length and extra sockets give greater flexibility.The brackets were flush with the front edge on receipt but were easily swapped to the rear using a hex key to loosen the screws.The £22.95 price tag is excellent value for money if this provides a good number of years usage.

Does what it should do, but the dimensions are wrong. It’s supposed to fit a 19 inch rack but the one that arrived was actually 19 inches and an eighth so too wide, it wouldn’t actually fit easily in the rack of which it was intended. Had to bend the rack ears slightly in order to make it fit. I think Quality Control needs to be checked.

Fits perfectly in my cabinet and not had any issues, good buy.

Third PDU I've bought for home use. This was the cheapest, but so far it looks and performs well.

Did its job well, had a massive power surge due to flooding, everything else in the house fried except then network cabinet.

The mounting brackets are too wide and do not fit into a 19” rack case.

The media could not be loaded. Says it’s a 19’ PDU but doesn’t fit my 6U 19’ rack case :( All my other equipment does apart from this, as it’s just a bit too long. Will probably fit after shaving down one side. However the unit works great 👍🏻 therefore 3 stars from me.
