Full time Swimmer
I've had my Fitbit HR Waterfi for over a month now and love it. The heart rate has motivated me to exercise with higher intensity.I gave it 4 stars because I have yet to figure out how to convert my swim routine to steps.Would love to learn how if anyone has the answer.

Four Stars
works well, but it doesn't have a battery indicator as the one that is not waterproof

une 16, 2018I love being able to swim (daily) with my waterproof FB Alta, tracking my exercise in the water too! I love tracking my activity, sleep and heart rate for cardio too! The only thing I worry about is that a thin rubbery strip came from out from between the face and the side of it... I hope this wasn’t part of the waterproofing system:/ I’d hate to loose use of it or ruin it because some weatherproofing strip came out.

Pricey, but worth the peace of mind
I'm one of those type of guys that only takes it off when it has to be charged. I'm still waiting on the day for them to figure out how to make one kinetic, or solar charging. But having a waterproof device is a requirement for me. Indobt know how Waterfi does it, whether it's a coating sprayed inside during assembly, or if the electronics are potted like some high end flashlights. But either way, it's been 100% waterproof so far. Great job guys.

Waterfi is awesome!
I absolutely love my waterproof Fitbit! I never worry about it leaking in the shower or in the pool. I wanted to be able to record the exercise I get while in the pool. My husband had a music device done by Waterfi so he could listen while he swims laps. Now several years old it still works perfectly. This is a great way to insure your electronics stay totally dry around and in water. Thank you Waterfi!!

Beware! Waterfi / HeadphonesandMore does not honor their warranty.
I purchased a waterproof Fitbit Alta HR from Waterfi last November, 2018, and it worked great. Up until it didn't. Water got in under the screen and then it stopped working. I reached out to the seller, Waterfi, but got responses from HeadphonesandMore - not sure if they changed their names, but they basically said I was SOL as they no longer sold Fitbits - even though their warranty was good for 1 year. All they could offer was telling me try with Fitbit. Fitbit would not warrant since it was altered by a third-party. Buy from HeadphonesandMore, but roll the dice as they do not honor their word.

Worked like a charm
Used it in the pool for the first time today. Worked like a charm. I didn't pay attention to whether it was measuring arm movement, or whatever - it measured my heart rate and I was able to enter the calories burned during the time I exercised - and the app converted that into "steps". That's fine. Spending more for the waterproof version is well worth it because I love the water.
