Hardware House 544676 Bristol 13-by-11-Inch 2-Light Semi-Flush Ceiling Fixture with Brushed-Nickel Finish and Alabaster-Glass Shade

This is a wonderful looking light and the quality seems really nice! It hasn't been installed yet, but if there are any problems I will come back and report.I was very impressed when this light arrived yesterday. Even the packaging is great! The styrafoam is molded to fit the glass shade exactly and there's a piece that is molded to fit inside the glass shade. At first I thought the shade had cracks in it, but it's actually made to look like old glass with swirls in it.I was in a store the other day where most of the lights displayed were $1,000 and up. Way up. This light could be among those lights with a $1,000 price tag and it wouldn't have looked out of place. Not that I would have paid that much for it, but I wouldn't have bought any of those overpriced lights. There were lights there that looked like they were worth thousands of dollars, but those were spectacular and weren't among the ones like this one that most sane people would put in their bathrooms, hallways, or laundry rooms.So, if you want a ceiling light that's in style in every way, but not expensive in any way, this fits the ticket. My ticket anyway.

This attractive light arrived well-packaged, with all parts/pieces as needed. It was installed in a hallway, and I am pleased with how it looks. The installation was a bit tricky, however. The instructions were pretty generic, not really specific to this light. The "diagrams" were drawn and the parts were not well-labeled. The plate that covers the electric box in the ceiling just barely covers the box - so if this is a replacement for an existing light, it may not cover the same area.

Looks gorgeous in my kitchen!

I have had this light for 2 years. It is beautiful and looks great in our space, however, it has been flickering for a while now. Doesn't matter if it is a full power or dimmed. We spend the majority of the time with the light off because of this. Not sure if I different type of light bulb would help. We are using LED currently. I will update if that takes care of it. IF it wasn't for this problem I would love the light.

We recently moved state to state and the current home had old ugly fixtures. I bought this for the front foyer and it looks very nice once installed. It's pretty sturdy. Please be careful when putting the bottom decorative nut after putting in the shade.....easy to drop the glass shade (our electrician did and he ended up paying for a new lamp).It's a well made lamp for the price. I bought the chandelier that goes with this and both look very nice. Use daylight bulbs in these (they are more white like natural light unlike the so called bright white that's yellowish).

Paid for new arrived used. Biggest gripe, I don't like paying for new and getting used!

Extremely difficult to assemble and install by following the instructions. Kind of had to just use my best judgement. Even being very mechanically inclined, it was a challenge to make it what I thought was 'proper'. It seems cobbled together. But overall, It looks beautiful after it was all done.

This light is nice, and it looks wider in person than what I gathered from the pictures. Good finishes and gives off plenty of light for the hallway where I have it mounted. The instructions definitely leave something to be desired, though. The English directions are basically one 8.5x11" sheet of paper front and back, and they cover installing all 7 or so fixtures in the series. So you get a lot of "if it looks like this, then do this." Not terribly helpful, especially when there are about 10 small nuts, washers and screws. Fortunately, there is also an explosion diagram of this actual fixture included in the box, and you can deduce what you're supposed to do from the drawing. Since I already know how to make the electrical connections, I ended up setting aside the written directions and just using the diagram to put the thing together.

a little on the pricey side, but installed nicely and looks great. 2- 60 watt bulbs installed and it lights up the area nicely.

Decent quality

Ordered a new lamp only to have a package that had clearly been opened sent to me. Parts missing, so cannot install and the light shade arrived shattered. Not worth the money.
