Good booster, and we can remove it after each soak
We've tried the weighted bag boosters for our hot tub. They're hard to place, take forever to dry when you take them out, and deteriorate quickly. I got this seat for my wife, and it's a perfect height for her with the legs folded in. However, when the jets go into their automatic "filter mode" at 4 am, the seat, with nobody on it, won't stay in place. No problem! With this seat we can drop it into place at the beginning of each soak, and pull it out for storage nearby when we're done. It drains the water out quickly, so it doesn't make a mess when we set it on edge in the garage. I find this a much easier solution than trying to find something that stays permanently in the tub and won't shift or break down over time.

Get this seat for your hot tub!!
Purchased for my husband to use while sitting in our inflatable Saluspa, and it's a great height for either of us! Makes sitting in the hot tub so much more comfortable! The weight is enough that it stays put, but it's not hard to move. Super helpful that it's adjustable, too. I'll be buying another one of these for myself!

Very sturdy, stays on bottom, adjustable legs may fold in and pinch, possibly unstable in molded tub
I have used two of these for over a year. They are incredibly sturdy and have held up very well. You should be aware that the legs adjust by folding inward so that they elevate less because the width of the leg is less than the length of the leg. Potential danger in that legs do not lock in extended position. With a molded tub where the sides are curved, we have found that the legs can be forced inward causing the leg(s) to go from elevated to lowered position, and if any body part is under the seat, it could be crushed. We are still using it, but should be wary of this possibility and especially monitor children. After trying spa cushions that either stayed on the bottom when weighted down and were unwieldy due to waterlogged weight, I threw them away. They were not comfortable, they tore easily and they squished to not really raise you significantly in the tub - just a couple of inches. I was very pleased when I tried this spa seat. It is very well made and holds up to 292 pounds. It adjusts easily by folding legs in or out. It stays on the bottom. My only concern is what I stated above about the legs. I would echo from another review that in a molded hot tub with unlevel seats, the seat will tilt to the back. In a corner with a rounded back, you may have difficulty with the front legs raising up and sliding forward - we had that issue on one corner, but not another that was formed differently. We found that on a level surface titled to the back slightly, it works great. Would of course work well on a level surface as long as you are careful that the front legs do not slide off and pinch a body part or cause you to fall deeper in the tub unexpectedly.. We like it so much, I bought another. I give it four stars, instead of five, because a better design would be to have the legs adjustable in between high and low so that you could make the seat level in an unlevel tub surface by making the front legs a little lower than the back legs, the legs should lock and the leg bottoms should be a non-skid surface.

Nice Chair
Put in Hot Tub for 5-Year-old Granddaughter to have head above water and it worked well. The chair goes to bottom, fits in seat in hot tub perfectly and does not float ! PERFECT!!!!! Price is excellent too!

Best option for hot tub seats
I tried multiple seats before these and hated them. I had almost given up. My wife and grandkids are too short for most of the seats in the tub, but not with these. They are not soft but should last forever. They don't float up when using and have two height options. Will get a couple more.

Wonderful product
Only had short but love it. I’m 5’3” so this seat puts me up right where I want to sit. It does adjust lower but I like the higher setting. Comfortable too. Stays put in pool. Doesn’t float around or move on you.

Well designed spa seat works in Bull Frog hot tub with modification.
My wife is too short to sit comfortably in our Bull Frog hot tub. We tried expensive water filled cushions that didn't hold up and left pebbles inside the hot tub. The PureSpa seat is heavy enough to stay in place and is built to last. The molded seating positions in our hot tub caused the spa seat legs to fold up. She needs the folding legs extended, but there was no mechanism to secure the legs. Because this seat is worth the extra work; I ordered stainless steel 10-32 screws, nuts, and washers, then used 3/16 inch drill bit to bore through the legs at the thickest point. Needed a 10 inch long drill bit to complete each hole. My wife says this is secure now so she is delighted with her new spa seat. PureSpa designed this seat for a FLAT hot tub, but could expand the market with a way to secure the legs. The plastic feet feel smooth to touch and seem soft enough that I do not think the fiberglass hot tub shell will be damaged. The seat is heavy for my wife to move so we will leave it inside the hot tub.

Great for Sitting Upright, but Not for a Lounger
We purchased this for a lounger hot tub seat, and unfortunately it did not work. The booster sits ok in the curvature of the lounger, but when you recline, it slips out. This seat would be perfect for sitting upright, but doesn't work with a lounger.
