Superb bag use it for work as my daily laptop and documents bag. Suits my needs looks great and is sturdy no downsides in my opinion get it

I have purchased many bags off Amazon in search for the perfect one for a consultant who flys often. My search included several of the waxed canvas leather trimmed bags and I determined they are my favorite. They provide a great combination of a cool, vintage style and practice space for computers, accessories and paperwork. I am not here to disparage the other brands, but this is by far the best of the bags in this category. It has great compartments for organization, looks like a far more expensive bag (it’s $40!!!) and and seems be of a bit higher quality than the others in the same price point.

This is my go to bag. I like it's versatility, and so far it has held up quite nicely. There are so many pockets that I sometimes forget where I put something exactly. I bought this bag to hold my church stuff, like bible and crafts the kids make, and the loaf of bread one member hands out each week. It has worked out well so far. I plan to continue to use it.Plus, it looks smart when I wear it riding my bicycle around. I'm thinking about becoming something of a minimalist, just me, my books and the bag. Whatever doesn't fit, has to go. A guy can dream can't he?I do only wish it had a designated place for keys, but that's ok.

Ordered this for a friend's birthday, but I was actually pretty surprised by the overall quality and finishing of the bag itself! There are a ton of leather bags on the web, but there were fairly promising reviews and photos for this particular one. I wasn't too sure about the horse leather (similar to saddle leather) or the photos of an elderly man whittling away, but my friend was overall pleased with the bag - and he has pretty good knowledge in regards to leather bags.Came packaged nicely with a strap on the side if you want to wear it on your shoulder. Bag is a nice faded brown color with two clasps on the outside. Once you open up the bag, the contents are protected by another zipper. There are 15 total pockets allowing you to stuff all sorts of papers, iPads, etc. inside. The interior is made of a different material and the bag has a slight odor that goes away after several days. They recommend using a bit of wax on the zipper, which I might look into - you can tell that the zipper isn't the smoothest pull and sometimes gets stuck every so often. I'm also not the biggest fan of the material of the outside of the bag - if you accidentally scratch it or make a mark, it does leave a faded marking.The bottom of the bag looks pretty sturdy, but my friend has some heavy laptops and decided against using this as a laptop bag. I think it's great for holding files and documents and paperwork, but I personally wouldn't put anything too expensive just in case. So far he's been using it for several weeks and it's been working out great!

Note: this is an on-receipt, preliminary review! I picked this messenger bag after buying and then returning a very similar bag from NEWHEY (their 15.6in bag with same basic design - which looks like the one they compare against in the photos). I had returned that Newhey bag mainly because its magnetic button-snaps would easily pop open whenever I picked it up by the carry handle under a normal load. It was also lacking any pocket that could be accessed without opening the whole bag. This messenger bag from Manificent fixes both those flaws - instead of magnetic buttons it uses spring-loaded buckle inserts - easy to quickly open or close, but won't just be pulled open by normal loaded weight. Also, this bag has a zipper pocket on the back exterior of the bag, which is good for any (slender) items or small documents you may want to access quickly. (Note - the exterior-back pocket will not hold a flat 8.5x11" letter-sized document or file folder - it's not deep or or quite wide enough for that - but will easily take letter-size sheets folded in half, small journal, mousepad, etc.) Padding for laptop compartment is good, 15" laptop slips in effortlessly. There's another zippered pocked inside the main compartment on the front side (about 7x6" pocket) - which is easier to get to than the comparable zip-pocket on the Newhey which was behind your laptop. Plenty of room in main compartment on the other side of the padded laptop divider for books, file folders, tablet, accessories,travel sundries, or even a change of clothes for a non-winter day-trip. Quality of construction on *initial* inspection appears to be good, but I've seen a lot of bad reviews on similar style bags where they're good on arrival but start falling apart after a couple of months of use. I'll come back and update this if I run into any problems in the next 60 days or so. If you are considering the similar Newhey bag, or any other similar bag in this price range, get this one instead!

I LIKE THIS BAG! I wasn't sure at first, but when I got a new large laptop, it was a perfect fit and has become the "laptop bag". I use to to carry all of the peripherals needed for the laptop. Divided sections in the main body, and a roomy pocket under the flap. I like the way the buckles fasten, easy one-handed fastening.

I purchased this new laptop case/bag to replace my old one. I wanted one that complimented my work bag. The price was very reasonable. I’ve had it for a few weeks now and can say I’m very happy with my purchase. The material is a heavy waxed canvas with leather straps. There’s plenty enough room for my laptop and laptop supplies. I would not be able to fit all my work things in this bag but I carry a lot of files around. I’ve received several compliments from colleagues. It’s very sturdy and has a great rugged/used feel to it, which I love! My only complaint is that the zippers are a bit loose ... making zipping slightly cumbersome. Just hold the sides tight and zipping becomes a lot easier. It’s great quality for the price and way nicer than my last laptop bag.
