Wish I would have bought more.

I needed one of these to convert a BNC oscilloscope probe to the 3.5mm plug used by my mini-scope (manufactured with a 3.5mm jack since its box is way too small to accommodate a BNC connector). There are plenty of BNC probes on the market, but virtually no 3.5mm probes, which means you need an adapter to use the typical BNC probe with a mini-scope. This adapter was by far the best solution I found (other options involved a cable or cost more to ship than the cost of the plug). It looks good and works exactly as expected, giving me a lost cost means for having a 10x probe for my mini-scope.

The product photo depicts a beautiful BNC to 3.5mm adapter with gold finish. The adapters (4) that I received are exactly as shown in the product photo. Will use to connect Terk Advantage AM Loop Antenna to radios equipped with BNC antenna connector.

I'm a little on the fence. I use them to adapt my SW antenna into a BNC antenna. Sometimes they seem to work and sometimes it seems they need a little coaxing. I'm not sure if it's the adapter or the antenna in jack on my PL-880.Edit: You can see my original review above. Although theses tested good with a multimeter, I kept having signal issues. I thought the attenuation on the antenna jack on my PL-880 was faulty because the signal would come in strong and then just drop to zero. Come to find out, although these little adapters kept testing good individually, they did not work when connected to a BNC connector. The female part of the adapter (the center hole where the male part of the BNC goes) was not making firm contact with the male wire of the BNC connector. I was able to make a workaround by packing the 'female' part of the connector with fine stranded copper wire until it made a solid connection. Basically, I cut off a small section of stranded speaker wire, took the individual fine strands and kept packing them into the hole with the BNC male part until it worked. Now my signal problems have been solved and I know I have no problems with my PL-880.

I love it it arrived within the ETA and it is perfect.I liked it so much I ordered it again.Now I can connect BNC coaxial cable and 10x probes to my DSO Nano V2 and V3 Oscilloscope.

CAN'T LIVE WITH-OUT IT.

Bought 2, half worked.Edit: Bought more in January because the price is so low. Bought 4 more, 1 didnt work. So 33% Fail rate left me with 4 working adapters out of the 6 I bought

I bought 2 of these adapters and one has a bad connection internally, and it can't be opened to fix it. Still very cheap though so worth a couple of stars.

Sieht schön aus und passt nicht.Das Bauteil ist mit so viel Pseudo Gold beschichtet das es zu Groß geworden ist.Habe hunderte BNC Kupplungen hier liegen und alle passen ineinander nur das Adapter müsste mit Gewalt in eine solches gedrückt werden.Um keinen Stress wegen Rücksendungen zu bekommen habe ich es mit einer Feile nachbearbeitet bis es passte.So wie es aussieht wurde eine Beschichtung über die andere gelegt was zwangsläufig zu Problemen führen muss.

Hängt aber nicht ab Radio denn mit einem anderen Klinkenstecker gibts keine Probleme. Nur in einer ganz bestimmten Position gibts Kontakt, das Radio einmal schief anschauen und schon ist die Antenne wieder raus. Keine Kaufempfehlung, lieber was selber basteln - das funktioniert dann wenigstens.
