Hunter Douglas Window Blinds Power Rise Remote Control Shades

We needed a replacement remote when my shades wouldn't work so well anymore. We thought perhaps it was the shade mechanism but I was able to narrow it down to the remote and figured it was the cheapest route to take and find out. Sure enough, they have worked perfectly since I bought a new remote. We didn't even have to do any programming with it. I was very happy it was available.

The media could not be loaded. It doesn’t work with my shades & it’s exactly like the one I have! These shades need to be thrown away & I need to purchase new ones since we can’t get them to move with any remote!

Exactly what I needed to replace an original Hunter remote which had stopped working. We thought something was wrong with the power rise blinds since we had tried new batteries in both remotes. Ordered this on a whim and was thrilled to find out the problem was with the remotes, not the blinds, which was a much cheaper solution.

Included batteries, work right out of the bag, perfect!

I would love to say that I love this remote.. however it came with no instructions or packaging and I have tried everything I can think of to get it to work and it still will not work at all. The red light comes on when I try it and my blinds go up and down when using the button on the blind itself so I know all of the batteries are in correctly and working. Am I supposed to sync this in some way? I can not find any way of asking the sellers these questions so I am relying on my fellow purchasers for any advice you may be able to give me.

This saved the day with our very old Hunter Douglas blinds in our recently purchased home. Only one remote was partly working. We popped in batteries to this thing and it instantly worked on all 6 of our blinds - no programming.

I have Hunter Douglas Silhouette blinds, battery powered. For the most part, I like them very much, but changing the batteries is a total nightmare. The cartridge holding the batteries is placed in a very awkward location and the length of wire for the connecting plug is just minimally enough. The combination make it very difficult to replace the batteries, especially if the blinds happen to be in the "down" position when the batteries need to be replaced. Major oversight by the designers. It seems like they expect you to bring a professional Hunter Douglas installer just to replace the batteries.
