Like the title said. It wasn't too bad but it only took a second to snip the elastic and throw in a few stitches for a custom fit. It's lightweight but also sturdy. Even after (hand) washing it has some body and shape. Sometimes I'll wear it under a beanie for the brim. That's the other thing, the brims on these are just the perfect length and angle and you can adjust them really easily even under a helmet. I like that I can roll them up and stuff then in my pocket and they dry out in just a few minutes. I have 3 and I feel like that's JUST enough. One is always in the wash and of course I have my favorite one that sees more wear.

These old style cotton cycling caps are worth their weight in gold if you ride a rode. The visors are short so they won't affect your vision, and material absorbs sweat and evaporates it off with a cooling effect on hot days. They look goofy especially if you flip the visor up but that enhances the cooling effect and improves vision. I don't wear a helmet but if you do you can wear these under the helmet.

The fit is perfect, and it looks cool, while riding my chrome GT Mach One Pro.

The cap is far better quality than the photo suggests. I'm so pleased with it I went into my den and showed it to the poster of Phil Anderson hanging on the wall (next to the Greg LeMond poster of course). Phil liked it too.

The fabric is thick and rough, and it runs pretty small. Looks the part though.
