Kerastase Kerastase Specifique Bain Stimuliste Gl Shampoo for Unisex, 8.5 Ounce

I have been losing a substantial amount of hair now for a few years. From what I have read, this is due primarily to age.In the last 2 years it has been even more so. It is probably due to a lot of current stress in my personal life. I am actually surprised that I even have any hair on my head! Whenever I cleaned the bathroom or vacuumed I could not believe how much hair I would pick up every week!I have been using this shampoo on my head now for about a month combined with the correlating treatment. The treatment is 42 small ampules and I try to use one daily. I am only about a third of the way through it. My hair has stopped falling out by more than 70%. I can tell by how little hair is picked up in my brush or comb. When I wash my hair I am not pulling out hardly anything.My hair and scalp feel a lot better! Yes this shampoo and treatment is costly, but not if you compare it to other "hair loss" type shampoos and this one really works! I cannot say anything about the other brands because I have not tried them, but their costs are comparable.Buying this larger volume of shampoo makes it much more affordable. Even though it is a lot of money initially, it lasts a long time because of the amount. I will definitely be back to purchase this shampoo again, but it will be a long time before I have to!The Kerastase website recommends to do this treatment every 6 months. I will see how it goes with my hair. I only purchased the shampoo at Amazon, I did not purchase the Kerastase treatment at Amazon because it was not available at this vendor when I wanted to purchase it. I will definitely look here next time if I do need it again.

I've already reviewed another kerastase product- they are all excellent- a little pricey, but they are pretty concentrated, so they should last you a while. I have a full, thick head of hair, so I use this in conjunction with two other kerastase products to prevent hair loss, as I'm now 48.I have a top-notch hair stylist, and he swears to me kerastase is light years ahead of any other hair care line. You WILL notice a difference when using these products- your hair will be thicker, shinier, and don't be surprised if people start asking you "what are you doing different?"Now, as I've said in a review of another kerastase product, if you are already slick bald or close, THERE IS NO PRODUCT out there that is going to save you. If they say so, they are snake oil salesmen that just want your money. If you are slick bald or have serious hair loss issues, I'm afraid you will have to go to Bosley for a hair transplant, which ain't cheap my friends. But, if you have the money, and your hair loss issues are getting the best of you, then by all means, just do it and make yourself happy!I have used numerous other shampoos and hair care products over the years, and I have never found anything that compares to Kerastase. I get compliments on my hair all the time- and who doesn't like compliments? I had thick hair before, but now- it's insane how thick it is. A good problem to have I suppose.

I've been using this shampoo for a while. My hair looks and feels really healthy. After shampoo, it's soft and silky, and shiny. I use it in combination with Kerastase Nutri Thermique conditioner and Nectar Thermique heat protector The heat protector I use after toweling my hair, then apply it. I was never big on ' too much product,' but this combination doesn't weigh down my hair or make it greasy.8.30.14I still love it, and haven't found anything else to compare to it. Each time I've attempted to switch shampoos, I go back to this one. FYI: it's typically available via Amazon through Neon and Noble in London. They are really reliable, the product gets to California in a week (from London!), and you save the tax. I've ordered from them multiple times, and had consistent experience each time. I just ordered 2 more bottles!11.12.14... I'm still using it, and it continues to be great!Enjoy!

This is by far the best thing that has ever happened for my scalp. I suffered from a really sensitive scalp - for the longest time I could not use anything at all. I have tried many other products and each one made my scalp unbearably itchy and painful. I tried everything, then one day I was getting a haircut and my barber suggested this as he had the same issues. When I tried It I thought this would be like everything else - but I was completely wrong. I order a bottle of this every 1-2 months for the past 9 months and have had no issues at all. It has strengthened my hair and promoted some hair growth (not an extreme amount, but enough for my fiancé to notice). I would recommend this product and will use this as long as they make it - I will never switch again ha-ha.

EDIT- This is the new formula! If you were pleased in the past, this new formula will repel you immediately. Its smell is AWFUL. This is a repackaged generic shampoo that smells as awful as Axe body spray. Not the actual GL Arginine shampoo and although it washes your hair, it gives it a weird texture. Not sure why they even make this version under that same name, ‘bain stimuliste’ if not to invite loyal customers to this folicular folly. Arginine isnt even in the ingredients, and the ingredients are different from the original formula. Best to be said is that it doesnt dry out your hair.

The Kérastase products have proven to be very good, but this particular product did not include a pump, which was surprising. Fine if you already had one and this was just a refill, but a bit of a pain if you didn't. For what it's worth, I just got the 1L conditioner as well from another seller, and it included the pump, so I'm still not sure if it was an oversight or if they don't normally include them.

Used for a person with thinning hair due to hormone inbalances (pcos).Great product. Gentle on the hair and maintains growth and strength of hair.Have been using for years and plan to continue despite being more expensive than your average shampoo.Purchase it as a 'treatment' not as a cleansing hair product only.

Bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it. He has fine hair and has noticed them being thicker and fuller after a months use. He buys this shampoo now all the time and uses everyday. Kerastase never disappoints!

bought to replace a 250ml bottle I was sold by my hairdresser at GBP18 - 4 x the amount for GBP46 seems a bargain. Seems to work so thats why i bought more :)

LOve the material but can only use it for short periods as it makes my scalp itch. Would reccomend for others to try though as I have a skin complaint.

My comb and bath plug are no longer full of hair, new growth has come through within a period of 2 months using this, even though its quite fine.Great value too as only a small amount is needed, I'm very impressed.I was expecting just another thickening product.
