You need to be looking forward.The major reason that people do not do better, do not in fact get rich is fear. Not just fear of failure, but fear of the "embarrassment of failure". If you want to get rich, you must stare down all your fears. You will not banish them, but you must conquer them or they will surely conquer you.The most important line in the entire book, in fact the essence of the book is this: "Getting rich comes from an attitude of mind. It isn't going to happen if things drift on pretty much the way they are right now." Perhaps by reading it, you will gain a short cut to wisdom about what is important in life.

This isn't a book about how to get rich. This is a book about how rich people (or at least Felix Dennis specifically) think, and of their observations about what makes them different from everyone else. Very interesting read and eye-opening about the personality traits of a successful entrepreneur. Despite what the author himself says, you don't need to read this book if your only goal from doing so is actually to get rich. Enjoyed thoroughly!

As a successful business man in the making, I am always looking to successful business men and women to see what kind of insight they can provide. I came into this expecting no fluff and clear practical advice and to a high degree I got that. What was refreshing was what all of that could do the you as a person the perils of getting really rich and how to avoid them. When you are consumed with trying to make the best business you rarely think about these things. Not mention the author was brutal honest about alot of theses pitfalls. As a rest it made the book really to refreshing to read. Wasn't written like a research paper which was what I was expected, but it was the author distilling his wisdom, through stories that happened to him and colleagues of his. An excellent read and one that I will definitely go back too when feeling stuck.

First, don't let the title fool you. This book is a gold mine of tidbits and insights into the nature of the entrepeneur. It's a quick read written in plain English. No buzz words, no hype, no fast track jargon. Felix Dennis has put in a nutshell what it's all about.If you expect to read the book and be indowed with the superhuman ability to make millions, put it down and walk away. That is not what this is about. If you want to understand the mindset and begin to develop that mindset, then devour it. Read it several times. Make it part of your daily reading and once you've worn that book to dog eared pages, broken spine, and pages falling out, get another copy. Do not put this on the shelf after you've finished it. You may as well hand it to someone who will read it and learn from it.Think of this as a cook book. It lists all the ingredients and it's up to you to have the pots and pans (your brain)and stove (your efforts) to make it happen. Not everybody will make the grade after reading this book but those that do, you have my respect.

Excelente livro, aborda de forma prática e com um leve tom cômico o tema dinheiro e seus impactos na vida de quem o procura.

El libro cuenta la historia personal de un emprendedor en Inglaterra, bastante bueno.. lo he comprado porque lo recomendaron en un podcast, tardó un poco en llegar es de tapa blanda pero por todo lo demás excelente libro muchas buenas anécdotas pero tampoco te van a enseñar a hacer dinero paso a paso es mas como una historia de donde se pueden sacar muchos aprendizajes
