Long lasting for super chewers. Preferred over elk
Malinois and GSD prefer over elk antler. Never had something last longer than a day. Very large size, worth the money, will buy again

As Big As His Head
Awesome piece. Worth every penny, and anyway it's a good price bc our New England general store sells slices of moose sheds for $20 that are tiny. This is super fresh, too. I can tell it was from this year. I might even use it in tandem with my whitetail sheds to train my dog to find them because the scent is very strong. Not so strong I can't be in the room when the dog is chewing it, though. The dog's opinion is that this is the best thing that has ever happened to him. I had considered buying a whole paddle off of eBay and slicing it myself but a whole, single moose shed can easily run $250 and I'm not great with a saw. So happy I found this instead. Only warning is: don't walk barefoot around your dog while it's carrying this thing around or it could break a bone if your dog is like mine and likes to drop things on you.

Great antlers, our Rotties love them, and they last a loooong time
These are great antlers. We have a Rottie and a Rottie cross, and they both *love* these things, plus they last for a looooooong time. They're expensive up-front, but when compared to lesser chew solutions they're worth it. In fact, we have moose antlers that are several years old - they got chewed for a few months/years, then got lost in the yard, then we found them again while gardening and put them back in the rotation. We got the 'Large' size and they were plenty big, I can't imagine the 'X-Large' size, must be humongous. Our Rottie cross is only ~40 lbs, and the 'Large' size is a little big for her, but manageable, and also a little small for our 120lb Rottie, but still plenty big enough for him to enjoy. The bottom line is that after trying all the possible chew/gnaw solutions we've settled on antlers, and after trying the available varieties (deer, elk, moose) we've settled on moose. They last much longer than deer or elk, and our dogs enjoy them more, as well. Highly recommended.

Little dogs love these
We previously purchased a moose antler to see how our big 70 pound dog would like it. Unfortunately, our little jack russell, 17 pound dog decided he wanted it and took it. The little dog loves it and has been chewing and gnawing on it since. So we had to order 2 more antlers to keep both dogs happy. Even though these antlers are huge, don't think your little dogs won't love them as much as a big dog does. So far, the first antler has lasted over a month, and both are still chewing on it. It keeps them busy and happy! We will be getting more in the future, when these are gone.

Wished it would have lasted longer!!
This item is in fact large and heavy. For a small to medium dog this would work for them and last a decent amount of time. But for medium to large dogs I do not recommend this product. I have a medium to large Belgium Malinois and a year old Bull Mastiff. It was a Christmas gift for them and they got it that morning. By Dec 27, I saw that my Bull Mastiff was chewing on it and wanted to see how the toy was holding up. To my surprise it was already half gone. It took them both a full 4 days to have it down to the knuckle due to the amount of cartilage found in that portion of the chew toy. Now I do have to say that the knuckle portion (the part that is attached to the animal) of the antler is very tough and will probably last them a long time due to that part having more bone like material vice cartilage but I feel that it is too small for my Bull Mastiff to chew on without fear of him choking. (and of the two he is the one that does the most chewing) But fear not, there is an alternative. I also bought the XXL Alaskan Moose Antler Point Chew Toy from the same seller. That item is also a hefty chew toy and is the harder part of the antler. They have been tearing that up and it is withstanding the punishment so far. I will post feedback under that item.

Very happy with our antler purchase
My dog loves her new moose antler. We bought the largest size. She is a 95 lb Doberman /Rottweiler mix who chews through her toys and treats quickly , but I think this one will last. It weighs 1.6 lbs and was 9 inches long by 3 inches circumference at the base, and a bit wider than 5 inches at the top paddle piece. There is a slight odor, but nothing compared to a water buffalo burn or cow hooves. I can not vouch for the flavor, but my dog seems to love it.
