Did not have much problems placing the original key and electronics inside this case. Only had to grind the original key end where it connects to the fob slightly to make the key pop out smoothly. Other than that, worked perfect.

It saved me a ton of money not having to go to the stealership for a replacement. Much harder to change than they lead you to believe. As for the actual key part, I drove the pin (see green arrow) out of my key & replaced the actual key part on to the pivot of the new one so I didn't have issues there. No instructions, what's online is sketchy at best, search You Tube. Before you begin stretch out a pillowcase on a large table with lots of light and work there. If you are not mechanically inclined GET SOMEONE THAT IS to help you. It will save you a lot of frustration.If I have to do this again, I'll not take it apart (this is where things got bad without instructions) but drive the pin out and just replace the key shaft it's self. You should try that first.

My plan was just changing the key itself. I just want to remove my key from my existing remote and install it to a new remote controller. Bu I have to make some modifications on my key to install it on my new remote controller.

Took me 10 min to install the old key parts in. Components looks durable. So far (a month..) so good

I replaced my oem remote case after it broke with this one about a year ago and the case itself works great, but the only problem is that the labels on the buttons already faded away and the rubber piece that holds the buttons started coming off but after I put it back in with some glue on the edges it stayed in place
