We had our house repainted and needed to replace the old and dated flower box on our house. I picked this one based on reviews and it was such a great decision. It is solid and built to last. Lightweight so it won't be too heavy once it is filled with soil and plants. I recommend buying this flower box if you are looking for one.

Really well made quality boxes yet not too heavy to move. They are really solid placed on our brick wall. I think others that had issues are overloading with soil and water so they are warping in the sun with weight bowing them around the hanging brackets. Would buy again 100% beautiful addition to make our house pop with color.

Planter is sturdy and easy to install. One suggestion:Mayne should factory drill the 3/4" hole for the self watering. Not everyone has 3/4" hole drill bit at the ready.

The planter is made of quality material. It is exactly what we were looking for to use on a cement step in the front of our home. We did not need the metal brackets that were included, and I think it would be a good idea if the company sold them with or without. The finish could be a little better, because dirt easily stains the finish. I used spray bleach to clean the surface to my satisfaction. I had to drill holes in the bottom because rain water built up. After the first season I came to the conclusion that I will need to drill more drainage holes to alleviate the excessive moisture. All that being said we like the appearance of the planter, and we're pleased with the purchase even after needing to make the adjustments.

I have gotten so many compliments on these and they are self watering which is a major plus !!!

Easy to Install. Great product. Holds water for plants. I am not normally a fan of plastic/resin. I prefer wood. But I have to admit that the windowbox looks fine. I expect it will last longer than the cedar window boxes I had to replace/build every few years.

Fast delivery, quality product, relatively easy install, durable, look good. Have had two for about 5 years in front of retail store. They look so good the neighbouring business purchased 5 more. The water reservoir is perfect for the hot season keeping the plants looking fresh and extending blooming.

We have had window boxes on our home for many, many years. My husband would build them for me, but enevitably, they would need yearly repainting, as they were wood. We have wanted these Maine Window Box Planters forever, but hesitated because of the price. Amazon had a great offer, and we purchased 3 for the large front windows on our 1887 Schoolhouse. We are SO glad we did. Because of their very high quality they will last for many years. My husband was extremely pleased, and a little shocked, at how easy they were to install. We also purchased the decorative brackets, sold on Amazon, which made them look extra classy. A friend of ours told us they made the house look “regal.” If you love to garden with window boxes, like I do, I can offer the highest of recommendations for these products. The money you spend now will help to make your home more beautiful for many years to come.
