Its HOT
It is pure, dried Ghost Pepper (aka Bhoot Jolokia, U-morok). And it is extremely hot. One jar will last a really long time... assuming you already know how to use this. It is a great deal.

Great flavor and heat!
I cook a lot and these are amazing. They add a lot of heat and a smoky flavor that I love. It will liven up any meal for sure. Careful how much you add if you are not a fan of hot food!

careful of moldy peppers, trader joes smoked ghost pepper dupe
I bought these to replace the discontinued trader joes smoked ghost chilies since they are the same species and they taste pretty similar. The only thing is I recommend you inspect your chilies and open them up before grinding them up, some are moldy from the drying process - this is normal in most plants you dry for spice, it happens.

Tasty peppers.
No surprises here it's a very nice dry, Smoked Ghost Pepper. Easily reconstituted with water, vinegar, or broth.

Spicy, burns your tongue, is legit
It is hard to find truly spicy things on Amazon but these are legit spicy. Not 100% as spicy as a fresh ghost pepper but very close to it. You need to train your spice tolerance before attempting these. I hate one whole with seeds.

perfect
you can smell the smoke and some heat, the reconstitution in warm water is goodheat level is perfect,I've only used two of them to make ghost pepper ranch and the flavor is perfect the heat is not lingeringbut gooddislike like that when i put in spice grinder to make a powder they get sticky(not dried enough)so they will not make a perfect powder unless you dry some morestill love them
