Great guitar for low cost.
Well, I will review this since no one else wants to. For a little less than $250, you get a guitar that should go for twice as much. The mahogany back and neck, is just beautiful, and the top is gorgeous as well, I'm not sure if it is maple or stika wood. It came with good action height, but I have it at about .060 12th fret, and get no buzzing with the new light gauge Elixirs, that give it good projection. And for a guitar in this price range to come with Grover machines, to me is unheard of! Looking inside the fan bracing is sanded smooth, and no excessive glue on the braces. What would I like to see improved? A bone nut and saddle, or TusQ, would be very nice, but I will use the plastic nut and saddle, until i pick up a TusQ nut and saddle at Amazon. The sound from this is on par with the Alvarez-Yairi DY45 I had, and that Yairi was a great guitar. This Greg Bennett is a better cost, but sounds(to me anyway) as good. The Asian guitar makers have really improved by 1000% over what they were back in the day. I would take this Greg Bennett over any of the current Epiphone acoustics. The days of me paying big bucks for Yairi and Guild acoustics, is over...thanks.
