Great ladder
Great ladder! I love this thing.Pros:- VERY stable, even at 8 ft. The additional "legs" at the bottom contribute greatly to this stability. It is very confidence building when working at the top of the ladder's range.- Collapses to smaller heights so it is easier to maneuver through doorwaysCons:- Heavier than a 6' fiberglass (but it goes to 8 so not really a valid comparison)- Wheels are only marginally useful- Note this items does not include the extra tray at the top of the ladder.Others:- Packaging was almost completely destroyed when it arrived, but the ladder was still in great shape.

Best ladder Ever.
This ladder replaces several other ladders and keeps space down in my van. The fact I only have to carry the one ladder all day makes it easy to determine which ladder I need. The ladder is heavy and noisier than others, but for what it does a very small price to pay. Any one in service or is incredibly short should have one of these. I happen to be both, so I love it.

Excellent ladder!
I'll preface this by saying I generally don't like being up on ladders. With that said, I did need one for reaching HVAC filters and such inside my polebarn. This fits the bill and is incredibly stable and the upper steps, even for me as a gentleman of "extra gravity." It's also light enough to maneuver around pretty handily. Overall I would definitely buy it again.

Little Giant 15130-001 5-8 Feet Select Step Fiberglass ladder
I recently purchased the Little Giant 15130-001 5-8 feet Select Step Fiberglass ladder. This was a house warming gift for our son and daughter-in-Law located in another city. As such, I have not personally used the ladder but my son reports that Dad made the right decision in selecting this particular ladder as they go about minor remodeling efforts on an older, single story house. They report that the ladder performs as advertised and its adjustable height and configuration fully meet the requirements of a medium length, combination extension ladder. Delivery service was excellent. The product arrived on time as noted, without damage. The ladder gets five stars for quality and innovation,

too narrow abd heavy
I bought this ladder to use with my old ladder to hold scaffoling, but it;s 1 inch too narrow. I'm a 64 yr old women and it's also quite heavy for me to handle.

Functional ladder
Great ladder. I’m giving a 4 due to the weight. It is on the heavy side.

Solid and insulated for electrical work but doesn’t convert to go 16’
Nice ladder, a bit heavier but it’s nice it can go 8’. Only thing that would have been nicer if it could have gone 16’ as an extension ladder

Little giant be smart and redesign ladders to include tradesmen not just painters and homeowners.
Ladder was a bit bulky but that's what you come to expect with Little Giant Ladders because of the sturdiness and build quality which are awesome and American made. What I really didn't like was front foot opposite the climbing side of the ladder such a big aluminum piece of metal that doesn't allow you to straddle much of anything like a normal ladder would. Should have a foot like the climbing side of the ladder instead. Also when fully extended past the work platform there is no second step which doesn't work well when climbing in attics or are you just need that little extra boost. Really dislike that design of that and similar ladders like the switch it made by Little Giant. I had just spoken to customer service at Little Giant about that specifically and they told me it did have all of the steps going all the way up but when I received the ladder I found it did not have that second step from the top which was a deal-breaker for me. Had to pay for return shipping after that was questioning had gone on with customer service. And this ladder being fiberglass it's supposed to be made for an electrician but has the tool slots for a painter not an electrician.. I'm just wondering what is little giant thinking? I would love to get together with Little Giant and build a ladder specific to electricians like the Werner old blue electricians job station. The old blue ladder is a much better design just wish it had the flexibility of a little giant. Looking towards buying a little giant Dark Horse ladder instead but disappointed it doesn't have the mounts for the air deck and four ratcheting leg levelers instead of two and at $882 it seems it should. And once you're spending nearly $900 for a ladder I would rather spend a little bit more to have these things included. One more issue I have is that all of the air deck and work platforms are also made for painters and home owners and not tradesmen, that also could be designed and built.
