I received the battery very quickly. Fit my MSI GS63 laptop perfectly. My previous battery would shut the computer off at 91-93% when on battery, I could not even calibrate it. That battery was pretty much done and dead. So I was hoping this new battery would work better. At first, I did have trouble getting battery to hold a charge. For some reason, the new battery charge would dissipate very quickly. I took the advice of another user and,reset the EC, then ran a battery calibration on it. That appeared to have fix the problem, and so far it is working real well. I am able to get a 100% charge on it. I can be on battery for about 2 -3 hours, depending on what I am doing. So, all in all, right now this new battery seems to be working well, fingers crossed it stays working!

Initial install and performance was as expected. Unfortunately, in under two years the malfunctioned, swelled, and caused irreparable damage to a gaming laptop. Having replaced multiple batteries in multiple devices over the years, I've never had an issue like this before. I cannot even begin to convey my anger that a high-end piece of equipment was ruined in the process. The only benefit is never having to decide if I should order a replacement battery from this vendor.

UPDATE: Seller reached out almost immediately and informed me that my warranty was still good, I was just attempting to message them through the wrong channel. They sent out a replacement battery no questions asked. Absolutely commendable customer service.This battery was good for several months (even though it skips from around 40% to 7% when discharged, still useable), however at month 8 it stopped retaining a charge altogether. My laptop just died the moment you unplug it. I remembered that they provide a 12 month warranty, however when I tried to contact them through “my orders” it says the support window is closed.

I received the battery and it worked well for several months. It stopped holding a charge. I reached out to the vendor and they quickly responded. A replacement was immediately provided and return shipping was covered by the vendor. This is outstanding customer support.Sometimes a product fails. This happens for any product. What is important is how the vendor supports the customer. This vendor provided me with what I believe is a outstanding support. I would buy from them again.

This battery never provided more than an hour of service in my MSI GS63, despite several MSI battery calibration cycles being run on it. After ten days, it stopped charging altogether. The MSI is almost four years old now, and I was hoping to replace the swollen factory battery with this one. I'm returning it to Amazon for refund and will operate the MSI without a battery at all (works fine plugged in and with no battery installed) until something else goes wrong with it. It hasn't been a good machine. I've replaced cooling fans once, and they're noisy again just one year later. I have an LG Gram that's newer and better for my purposes, and I will just use this MSI GS63 on my desktop. Most of the Chinese replacement cells for laptops seem to be a very mixed bag. This has convinced me not to buy any in future. And no more MSI laptops for me either.

The battery came pre-charged. I wasn't able to charge it to ful initially. Within a few days it was dead and the battery light is flashing; but I seemed to fix it by removing and reinstalling the battery. After charging and discharging the battery several times (as instructed in the product description) I was finally able to run battery calibration on my MSI GS63.It's not great, and I don't expect it to last too long, but I guess it's worth the ~$40 price to not need to get a new computer.

It worked perfectly!My old battery was bloated and the damage to it was starting to legitimately harm my PC. I ordered this battery off of Amazon and it plugged in perfectly, even already having charge in it to function. Shipped in very nice packging. It took a little bit of fidgeting to squeeze in the wires without bending it too much but I just copied how my old battery wires looked and it slid right in. I look forward to using my computer off of its charger for once!
