Great replacement
Dropped my Sony a6000 and lense would not focus/ attach. This replacement lense works perfect with no problems and was the most affordable option I could find. Great quality and value . Image is clear , zoom works as expected. No issues & would recommend.

OEM lens, great value!
I bought an A6400 body from the local big box electronic shop because I had an A6000 with other Sony Lenses. While the A6000 was silver, the OEM lens was also silver, and didn't match my black A6400.I purchased the Sony SELP1650 16-50mm OSS Lens: Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS Lens (Black) online separately because this was going to be a better value purchasing separate than the bundle offered at the big box electronic store.This version is no different than the OEM, and came in the actual lens box. I thought it would be bulk packed like some other lenses I've purchased. It works well for the basic compact lens, and even though the widest aperture is only 3.5 at 16mm, it fits the bill for most basic casual shooting. It also travels well because it's not so long too!

Buy if you have no other options
The user I bought this from sent me a faulty lens, the kit lens is normally great, this one had a hitch in the zoom and it was much slower than my first kit lens.

Great little lens
Ordered this to replace the one I've been using since I this 16-50mm came out. (scratched the lens). Wonderful little lens for landscapes and typical family photos. EXCELLENT glass, and very lightweight and compact..could put the A6700 in my sling purse to carry without a problem.

It Performs As Billed
I like this little lens. It's compact, sturdy and lives up to its billing. The autofocus is above average. Clarity and color rendition are good and I do like the ease of manual focus. I will keep this lens to use when I want a small camera footprint. Also, I've used the image stabilization lightly and it worked...I have not tried it with serious movement. IMHO, it's a good value and I do recommend it for what it offers.

Lens is okay -- good zoom for a small lens but does make noise, not as described
Like most people say, the lens does NOT come with the emount cover, it just comes bubble wrapped in non-official packaging. Annoying mostly because I was able to use a cover from another lens on it whenever I take it off, but all you can do is request to return it, they won't send you the cover separately.I like the lens for vlogging -- it goes wide without creating too much of a fish eye and can zoom in quite a bit for being so small and portable, which is really what I enjoy. Most zoom lenses are just way too big. It does make a loud noise when zooming in and out, just so you know!!
