very good quality.
Was easy to install when I got the right driver. Bought for my mom and here computer is a vista operating system. downloaded the correct driver and worked great. I sell the BSD line of Lexmark and love them. the best for business you can get. The toner return policy is great. I ordered extra toner for this printer and got it the next day.

Wireless printing not properly functioning.
Connected to web , print job is received but printout function failed. It’s good though through wired connection. My need didn’t meet with the product as I was looking for wireless printing.

Complete system failure within a month with no support.
This printer does not deserve even one star, but there is no option for zero or negative star selections. This printer failed inside a month. 260$+ wasted. Failure to power up (although power light illuminated) with flashing red and blue lights, like a traffic stop, and no LED function (or any other function, for that matter) whatsoever. No printing, no scanning, no copies, no nothing. When I called Lexmark technical "support", after wasting valuable time on hold, I was connected to a corporate rep whom I could barely hear to comprehend (this is as polite, respectful, and politically correct as I can manage). From what little of our conversation I could understand, I sensed he was asking leading questions in order to determine that the printer somehow failed from some type of "misuse" or negligence on my part. I gathered that he was attempting to blame this failure on my home power supply and that this was entirely on me (mind you, somehow his reaction was based on a similar symptomatic description to what I provided in the first few sentences of this review). If you spend any time reading reviews on here, you'll likely realize that all of these products, no matter the manufacturer, can have some mechanical issues. Whatever you do, try to find a company with even a modicum of customer service and support—even if it's as simple as the representative not automatically looking for blame to cast on you. Lexmark isn't the one. Oh, and the printer is garbage (literally...read on and reference photo). I will happily never again purchase another one of their products. I thoroughly enjoyed my rage-filled moments while throwing this printer, as hard as I could, into the dumpster. (Visualize the scene from "Office Space"). If you're not physically strong enough to do this, no worries. Find someone who is, because your only satisfaction will come as you live vicariously through them while watching them throw this printer with maximum velocity into a dumpster when yours, too, fails. PS: Before I threw it away, I did call local repair shop to see if they could fix this since I generally like to have things fixed instead of simply throwing everything away at the first sign of malfunction...you know, the environment. Not this time. I am buying an HP....I should have done that in the first place.

Easy to set up
This printer is very easy to set up and use. The output is good quality. I love the two-sided printing option. My only regret is not getting a color printer.

Average product
The instructions consisted of some stick drawings of people doing things. I had so much difficulty getting it to sync with our Mac, was it supposed to do, that I had a tech shop take over the computer and get it properly set up. Since then it seems to be working OK but that’s added a lot to add to the purchase cost

Good value
This is a really good scanner, copier, printer the only problem I have is inserting manual checks it doesn’t like to do a whole check run only one at a time. It could be something I’m doing wrong. And if you load more than five at a time in the tray it pulls doubles through. I’ve just learned to only do five at a time. Wi-Fi works great to print from your phone.

Adequate
There is little to no documentation for the installation of the printer. Very basic software control from the computer after installation. The touchscreen is rather small, but works okay. I give it 4 stars because the print quality is good, as well as adequate functionality ( double-sided printing, document feeder, scan to email...).
