Excellent bang for the buck!
The case is very effective and ascetically pleasing. It is a simple install procedure, that is shown directly on the amazon page (no instructions included.)The fan itself isn't terribly loud, but isn't silent. At 6 inches away it is running about 32db while room ambiance is 28db. Putting the mic right next to the fan resulted in around 50db. That being said, it's terribly effective. When running a simple stress test, the CPU will spike to 59°C after two minutes with the fan running. Without the fan, the CPU spikes to 72°C, a 13°C difference! I honestly did not expect it to make that much of a difference. I still don't think I will keep it running for the majority of the time, but if I am ever running stressful loads on the Pi, I will make sure to have it plugged in.The case looks very professionally produced, except for the large slot for accessing the pins. I wish it came with a cover that you could snap on to protect them when not in use. However, for the price I'd say this thing is unbeatable!

High quality
I bought a different case initially that I returned and then bought this one. The difference is night and day. This case is very high quantity.Installation of my board was fast and easy, including the fan and heat sinks. It is an exact fit around my board, leaving no gaps around all the various ports (something that really bothered me about the case I bought previously). And you can't beat the price. These guys will be my automatic go-to the next time I need a RPi case.

Great case, marginal screws. Read below for data on fan & cooling.
My 14-day assessment is this is a great value case. A few quick points:Fan volume:The fan was noticeable on the 5v connector but not obnoxious. I’m noise-averse to fans from equipment on my desk so I dropped the fan to the 3.3v connector on the Pi and couldn’t hear a thing, even 12 inches.Temperature (at 3.4v “low” speed)I ran a stress test ($stress-ng) and never went above 75C using the included case, fan, and thermal tape. My ambient room temperature was 72F (22C), and at no load the P4 averages 43-44C.//cut//<beginning 20 min into stress test>16:40:01 UTC - Temperature: 75.0 C load average: 4.08, 4.02, 3.7116:45:01 UTC - Temperature: 73.0 C load average: 4.08, 4.02, 3.8116:50:01 UTC - Temperature: 75.0 C load average: 4.08, 4.02, 3.8816:55:01 UTC - Temperature: 73.0 C load average: 4.08, 4.04, 3.93<test stopped at roughly 16:57 UTC>17:00:01 UTC - Temperature: 47.2 C load average: 0.11, 1.96, 3.1317:05:01 UTC - Temperature: 44.3 C load average: 0.00, 0.71, 2.2517:10:01 UTC - Temperature: 44.8 C load average: 0.00, 0.25, 1.6217:30:01 UTC - Temperature: 43.3 C load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.41//cut//Without modification, the Pi 4 CPU throttles at 80C to preserve itself, so this was really a test to see if I would ever need to adjust to a higher speed depending on my use case.If you want to duplicate the test, just make this into a script and add it to your crontab at 5 min intervals (*/5 * * * * /path/to/script)echo "`date` `landscape-sysinfo --sysinfo-plugins=Temperature` `uptime | cut -b 39-70`" >> mytempOne complaint: The screws. The screws on this case are very poor quality. They’re tough to get in and easy to strip. Not a problem if you intend to set it up and the ignore it forever, but if you want to take the case apart frequently for different projects then I recommend a different model. I think 1-star off is justified for a case you can only disassemble a few times, especial for a project board.Overall, great value case and at low speeds the fan is inaudible and still keeps the Pi4 below throttle temp.

Simple and Clean Case
I used this case for a project that needed the device to be on 24/7, and the fan was a HUGE help. I will admit that the fan does make an audible noise that can be heard from a few feet away, and unless you screw the case tightly or have it pinned/taped down, it can vibrate through the plastic making the noise very loud. Outside of that, it gets the job done perfectly. Only thing that would be great is if there was an optional clip-in piece that would cover where the GPIO pins are, since there are some projects (like mine) where I didn't need them and they were left out and exposed which wasn't suitable and I had to carefully cover over the gap with a piece of clear packaging tape which did the trick. Otherwise, great case and got the job done!

It's dead cheap, and not that bad!
This was literally the cheapest Pi 4 case on Amazon when I looked, a whole $7 I paid. Honestly, it's pretty good. Assembly is a little fiddly and kind of takes eleven fingers, but it fits well and feels sturdy. The plastic is of above average quality for its price, the heat sinks all fit, and the fan is a nice touch. It wouldn't run Ubuntu before I got cooling on it, and this little fan was enough to keep it stable. Even in its high speed mode, the fan is nearly silent. Bit of a drag that it runs off the GPIO pins, in case you were using them, but any 3.3 or 5V input should power it.

Great, inexpensive RPi 4 case
The case works great for RPi 4, easy assembly and allows access to the GPIO pins along with slots for camera and display ribbon cables. The fan and heatsinks work well to keep the board cool.
F**!
The fan's junk. If you need a case, this is good. I don't suggest even connecting the fan.
The case is good... I have several of these that protect pi's I use for many uses--vpn server/client, motioneyeos server, media server, retro arcade--to name several. None run all that hot. They're all in 70F ambient temp environments. If the pi's I had generated more heat and/or were in warmer environments, they'd rely more on the fan for cooling. Although they probably cool, especially early on in their lives, I doubt these fans are reliable. They run a while, then get really noisy (this means there is something wrong with them--inefficient). If you can stand the noise, I doubt they go another 3mo. If you're like me, you just remove the fan and wish you hadn't installed it in the first place. Like I said, the case is good--good protection and fitment.
