According to my dog, this bed "works!"He says: "The fit is perfect since I can fit all of my dogginess into the inner, flat portion or, if I wish, rest my head on the soft, rounded edge. Although I generally tend to prefer a soft bed, (two beds, stacked, is really nice) this one is amazingly comfy for having a somewhat unpadded bottom. Set on a carpeted floor it has a delightful combination of soft and firm! As for the color, once again I was pleasantly surprised! As a tri-color beagle-whippet mix (Beaglet) I tend to prefer darker colors where I can easily see the various shades/tones of brown and white that I love to shed. The lighter color (off-white) allows me to not only see the darker hairs, but also the various shades of dirt, sand, leaves, pine needles and other things that I've rolled in! It is a change from my "usual," but I've discovered many new pleasures with this bed.The main downside is that this bed IS machine washable (cold, gentle) so I know that once I get it properly broken-in and seasoned, my two-legger will no doubt destroy all my hard work... Still, since the cleaning instructions specify non-chlorine bleach, it should never get to the point of being TOO clean! When mine inevitably does get washed, I've requested a small, post-wash sprinkling of sand and, of course, a tasty biscuit on the comfy edge."As you can see, he seems pretty happy with it and, if he's happy, I'm happy!

Fits perfect in my dogs crate I have a small pug and it’s perfect for him. So soft to holds up to.

This was the perfect buy for having a puppy who was learning to crate train. It was so easy to wash, held up after many washes, and we continue to use as puppy gets older. Fits well in all the crates we’ve used it in!

I bought one and it washed well and retained its soft fluffiness and firm edges. I ordered another but the quality wasn’t the same. After one wash it was still soft but the edges became flat and it looks worn like I had it for years instead of a couple of months. I won’t buy again.

They were not lying about how soft it was! I want to sleep on it!It is not the thickest bed but works for the crate and doesn't seem uncomfortable. My Nefi will lay on it but she will also kick it all around in the crate, she can never keep it flat she has to move to much! So if you want it to stay might need some sticky applicators.Otherwise great buy and fits my 48" x 32" crate perfectly to the edges.

Not sure what took me so long so buy my 14 yr old arthritic cat a bed, but she loves this one! Put it on the couch next to me and she got in and stayed there the rest of the night. Passed right out too. (The spot on her arm is shaved from a recent trip to the vet). Great quality for the price! It is so soft. I will not put it in the washing machine from reading others's reviews, but will spot clean as I do with my delicate faux fur throw.

This was nice until I needed to wash the item. The black dots on the bottom came off by the 100s and stuck to the Sherpa. Wound up tossing bc was after the one month return window. Not durable at all.

My puppy loves the blanket I have for her made out of this type of material so I decided to get a bed like it too. If your dog will chew their bedding it may be a problem. My pup chewed the label off in seconds and they started chewing off strands of white pillow. The edges are a nice pillow but the center is just like a very thin blanket and offers really not soft support, so I put her blanket on there as well so she has some soft padding. The non-skid mat is good, but no way it is every flat on the ground, and when I run my hand over the bed (as I said it was very thin) I could feel the lumpy rubber mat folded over in random places, which is another reason I put the blanket as that seems very uncomfortable. I would not get a bed like this again, but instead one that is thick all across so it has some support for my pet.

My fur babies just love this new comfy bed...we put it in their pet crate where they sleep at night and they LOVE it!

Right size for chihuahua. His older bones are enjoying the cushioning. We put a pillow case over it as our dog likes to roll in dirt before having a nap. Cover is not removable but whole bed can be washed.

Very soft and white, fits my cat's 24" crate (Petmate 2 door top loading) well. The bedding is slightly bigger but climbs up the walls slightly, making the crate feel cozier.I threw it in the washer (warm cycle) and dryer and it came out perfectly clean, no fluff falling out or threads coming out. Anything that's easy to clean I'm all on board for!

Fluffy and soft, not as much padding on the bottom as some of our other beds weve had in the past, but I dont think a small/10 pound dog would be heavy enough to notice

This thick, soft pad fits my dog crate perfectly and provides her with a very inviting place to rest. A good purchase.
