Keyless Entry Door Lock Deadbolt Stainless Steel 304 Keypad Mechanical Digital Combination Double Security (Pass Code Or Keys)

There were times we would be in the garage and would find the door to the house was locked but we were without the key. We wanted a keyless entry lock so that all that was needed would be to put in the combination. This lock has all the features we wanted. The lock mechanism works well. The tumblers are easy to manipulate and any preferred code can be chosen. The lock is made of stainless steel, is attractive. and is dead bolt. An important feature is that no batteries are needed. Installation for us was easy because we simply replaced the original lock. We also installed a self closing (spring) hinge as the center door hinge and that has been very helpful. We like this lock and recommend it as a 5 star.

I didn’t feel like drilling a new hole in the garage door for a separate deadbolt so I found this all in one knob/deadbolt assembly (the only one I’ve seen anywhere) and I couldn’t be more pleased with the installation. The instructions were a little confusing at first but I believe I have some minor dyslexia so it’s like that for a lot of things with me. I had to retrofit the door slightly but it’s an old door with old connection points for the strike plate, etc. Programing the code was simple and I was able to do it on the second try. I’ve tested it and so far everything is working perfectly. The only thing I would change are the wood screws, I feel like they are a little short and the points I already have drilled in the door are old and worn so I needed longer screws to be embedded in the door firmly. Overall I’m happy with this purchase.

1st, this is not the safest lock in the world. You can easily find tutorials on how to defeat it via YouTube. I will never rely on this to protect my home.2nd, the knob can only lock the door when turning left. And it will open the latch when you turn the knob right. Why is this important? I have this installed on a door that swings to the left. So, it's more nature to turn the knob to the left when opening the door. But, if I do that, the deadbolt will lock the door right away.3rd, the instruction included with the product is just okay (especially on how to set the key code). It's not that hard to figure it out on your own, but it's an additional thing a user must figure it out.So, why a 4-star review with those issues I mentioned above? I need to install it on the side door to enter my backyard. I don't need it to be super secure. I simply want a keyless solution without spending $100+ for a smart lock to solve this issue (also smart locks aren't waterproof on both sides of the lock). So far, it works as expected and no issue placing it for outdoor use.As long as you are aware of the issues I mentioned above, you are getting a solid product.

I was awaiting for a good and simple keyless entry lock all these days. Either they would be costly or very tough to install. But this lock fulfills all my requirement like easy to install, easy to use and very cost effective. This lock is of high quality with high security and can be used with both keys and keyless. Setting up the codes are very easy and a kid can do that. Very happy to have this setup. On time delivery by the vendor.

Installed for two months and the bolt already corroded to the point it wouldn’t open! Had to pull hinges to remove the door and force it to open past the rust. Will add pictures when I have them. Be warned if you are using this in a corrosive environment - keep shopping for something else! This is installed in a coastal Texas application and yes there is salt water close BUT, it is described as 304SS!? Apparently the bolt isn’t Stainless. Very disappointed as I missed the return window so stuck with this item.

I have several of these locks in coastal properties and so far they are holding up well. Good steel apparently. It is easy to re-code them and no batteries. It will be easier to crack the code than with a smart lock but my cameras or neighbors will catch this with plenty of time before code is cracked.

If you need a deadbolt but can’t find one with a knob, this is for you. Currently I rent a room in someone else’s home and didn’t feel like the regular knob and key was secure enough. Anyone can break into a regular doorknob with a credit card. I didn’t want a plain deadbolt because how am I supposed to pull the door shut behind me??? Before I had a towel hung over my door to swing it shut, had to stick the key in the deadbolt and pull it closed just to lock it. Very inconvenient and I bent my car key slamming the door shut!This is the BEST thing I’ve bought on Amazon in a good while. This solved all of my problems. Plus, it comes with a keypad in case you forget or don’t wanna carry your keys.

Lock was easily installed. Provided keys are very cheap. First key broke inside lock. Am unable to make a copy at any kiosk. Will have to seek out a locksmith and pay for a copy. How hard is it to make decent key?
