Fantastic OTA Indoor TV Antenna
I love this antenna. After using a couple of the flat indoor TV antennas (which also work great) I just have to say this one has the flexibility of being in the window or sitting on the TV stand near a window. It's easy to move to enhance signal. I'm very glad I took a chance on this design. It is small, can be placed anywhere, and gives us a great signal on 20+ local channels. My husband enjoys METV and GRIT. I like getting local news and weather. This antenna has a button to toggle for long range and short range. I am using it on short range.

Didn’t work for me
Didn’t really want to run a cable in one of the bedrooms for what little we are in there so bought one of these. Hooked it up then started scanning. Four channels two were the same. Moved the antenna to different locations even opened the window and put it outside, same thing. Didn’t get any better so I ran a cable to the bedroom and abandoned the idea of free air tv.

It picked up channels but not too many
The antenna is very basic antenna and it has the aux in and out. It only stands about five to six inches up. I have tried a few antenna and this one actually picks up the least amount of channels. I moved around and tried it in different rooms and houses and it usually picks up the same amount of channels (around 11 to 12). It does have a USB port so you can plug in the longer range. I tried it with both the usb on the converter box and an outlet but it did not make any difference. It is not really specified how long of a range you may have. The antenna cables are thick and you may need to manage the cable to keep the antenna from falling over. It only really gets nbc and that’s about all I can get out of it other than Spanish channel and older tv show channel. Overall this device does do the job of picking up channels but it does not pick up very many. The long and short range setting does not do anything to change that.

Wish it had included a USB AC Adapter
I have been using the flat type of antenna which attaches to your window. Though it worked, for some reason I could not get the local NBC channel, even though it’s only a few miles away. So I decided to give a different type of antenna a try. I’m happy to report that I now receive all of the channels I expected. . . .Including NBC. I use this with my TiVo box, and it works without a problem. If you haven’t used such an antenna before, I highly recommend you do a search for TV Transmitter Locator to find out which channels are in your area, so you know what to expect. This antenna comes in a plain which box. There is no “brand name” listed. So any number of vendors could be selling this antenna. One thing this antenna does not include is a USB AC adapter, and it really should. You’ll need one for the “booster”. If it had included the AC adapter, I would have given it five-stars.Keep in mind that such an antenna usually needs to be placed in a window with a clear view to have the greatest success at receiving the best signal. The cord is not that long, so if your TV is far from a window, you may need an extender.

Obtain a large number of channels.
Great buy. The set up is very easy and the channels we get are clear. I am getting many channels - HDTV quality and real clear. Finally saving $$$ and enjoying the clear picture.

Worse reception than non-amplified antenna
I was optimistic that this antenna would pull-in good reception while not looking ugly on my TV stand, but this antenna was easily outperformed by my old, non-amplified antenna. I tried this in both long and short range settings but was not able to receive as many channels as my old antenna. Note, I live approximately 35 miles from the towers I am trying to receive a signal from. Also disappointing was the length of the cord provided. The antenna itself is connected to a fairly long cord, but the power cable and TV input cable are very short.

Stick It To The Cable Guy!
Stick it to the cable or satellite companies and get this handy antenna! I'd rather use that $150.00 I'm saving each month for new shoes, gummi bears, and my online dating subscription. It's super easy to install; even this redheaded bombshell did it by herself. I even bought 2 for my mom's tv's; she is elderly and can't afford cable on her social security income and HAS to get her daily Price Is Right fix. Trust me, if mom can't watch tv, she's gonna be calling me 24/7 to keep her entertained. So, if you want to save money, have peace, and be able to afford that Lamborghini you've been coveting, get this antenna!

Only got 1 channel
I live 10 miles from a major city and I used to get over 20 channels with my old antenna but switched to cable and gave my antenna to a friend. I recently switched to streaming and need an antenna for local channels so I thought I'd give this a try. It only pulled in 1 channel even after I positioned it in a window. Complete disappointment I'm going to purchase one like my old antenna instead.
