Anticipate it being as good as the smaller one.
I bought the smaller and it worked fantastic but was a bit small for my bike, so I went ahead and purchased a large one from a different vendor on Amazon and it was not at all the same quality as this one. I returned that one and then realized this vendor sells a large one as well, once again it's fantastic, take your time installing and reading the vendors instructions both on securing after adjustment and mounting and there is no way this is falling off or coming apart double check and tighten everything and its rock solid . I tested the smaller one at 110mph and not a wiggle. I have not tested this larger one yet but am confident it will be the same . The supplied upgraded wing nut hardware is a bit ugly but does its job very well l. I cannot attest to the quality or strength if the plastic hardware because I used the new stuff. . It's crystal clear 4mm thick much stronger and stiffer than the other vendors screen. To me, it looks like a factory add on to my bike. I will update after road test

Very nice
This went on a honda rebel 1100t dct, i bought this to relieve the buffering at freeway speeds. I haven't had the opportunity to go for a ride very far yet, but at 80 mph it was rock solid and still buffered a bit. I will have to play with the angles and height more, but so far pretty good. The "up grade" kit is no more than a wing nut and wing bolt, as yo may see in the pictures they do not look that great, but ill poder coat or paint them so they don't stand out so much. I would recommend this product its a nice thick piece of plexiglass, the mounts seem solid. A good value for the money

overall, so far so good. Now not so good modified 08/09/20, returned 8/14/20 latch fell off
Pros: Took it for a quick hiway ride and the head buffeting and wind rumble was dramatically cut back.Cons: No install manual but it was straight forward if you're mechanically inclined. The latches appear fragile. Hopefully, they will NOT break.Followup 8/9/20, well I was correct about the latch. The lower left latch popped off. Trying to decide now if I want to repair it or just get a refund. Pushed back on, appears to be holding but I have my doubts. Picture includedFollowup 8/13/20 latch fell off. Can't recommend this item because of cheep latch and hinge assembly.

Better than expected, but did crack my windshield after 9 months
Works great. It is a little flimsy but for the price it works better that I expected. I am 6 foot tall and the wind would hit me just above my eyes. With this installed it throws it up about 3-4 inches over my head and also got the wind off of my ears. Even with the big gap between the windshield and the windshield extension all the wind went straight up the extension. Had it up to 65 mph with no issues, great for cold morning rides to work. I would recommend. *** 9 month update. Unfortunately this week my windshield did get a stress crack from the windshield. The product has work perfect with no issues and has held up to 80-90 mph highway driving( it does move and bounce around a lot) I bought it for cold weather riding but left it on because I enjoyed the No wind directly in my face. I have purchased my replacement windshield because the crack keeps growing. I will simply invest in a taller windshield this time. But the product did work great. The crack has been my only issue.

Great for the price...
For the price, this product is great, it does a great job at what it’s supposed to do. However, the construction is also very shotty. Maybe it was just my unit but the locks for the pivot points were very weak and one of them actually came off. I was able to put it back but everyone I undid it, it would want to come apart. Again, for the price, it would probably be “good enough” for some people. For me however, it was not and I ended up returning it as I planned on using it for a 4000 mile road trip and didn’t want it breaking during the trip.

Very good purchase.
Six months in--Good product, very happy with the purchase. Solved the wind buffeting I had at speeds above 50.Mounts easy with the clamps and no drilling required.Pro Tip: try multiple positions and find what works best for you, then superglue the joints. They are not very robust and tend to loosen up and move around at speed. The included instructions say the product is not suitable for highway speeds but after gluing the joints in position I've had no issues on prolonged rides at interstate speeds.Liked it well enough that I bought an additional one as a spare. Sooner or later I'm sure it will fail but for the price it would be hard to beat.

Failed upon meeting 70mph first time
Does not stand up to highway speeds. I tried using on first day out of the box after install (after tightening all screws and hinges) and while it felt sturdy, I hit 70mph and it flapped toward me and funneled wind right into my face. I pulled over and assessed. The mechanism that allows it to be adjusted uses plastic teeth. These plastic teeth easily became sheered and lost grip, causing it to fail. Thinking back on it now, I saw the soft plastic joints in the photos and thought it may be an issue......it was.I think I may just keep the shield and create my own aluminum arms with a single pivot point. Nah, I'll just find a better quality product.

Just what I needed
Really helped with wind buffeting. Comes with a very basic instruction page now which helped. It seems sturdy enough and has lasted a week of up to highway speeds with no problems. The metal hardware screws are frustrating because they are too short to allow adjustment of the height adjusters without completely taking the screws of but wont be a problem once set.

Works Great - The height Your adjust it is not the Key, It is The angle That is MOST Important.
Really reduces the turbulence around the helmet. Put it down as low as it goes and then tip the top of the fin forward for the Laminar effect. That is how it was designed to work. Read up on the laminar lip, or laminar effect to understand. It redirects air by the angle, not the height. It is not the higher height that does the trick, it is the angle it is tipped forward that causes the change in the wind bubble. Play with it, you will see what I mean.I had a laminar lip, and it worked great too but it is so pricey from the USA to Canada. This is half the price. The laminar lip was placed about flush with the height of the old windshield too, to create the laminar effect, creaing a higher air bubble.Only thing is that the glass was clear, but after my first 5 day Motorcycle trip it is turning an amber yellow color already, it is noticeable already compared to the Givi windscreen I have. It is not an ugly yellow color, a slight amber tint, which actually helps the glare a little. Not sure how far the ambering will progress. But as for how it works. Can't beat the price and the difference it makes in head buffeting. 5 Stars for how well it works, and One star off for the yellowing of the lens..... Used on 2016 Suzuki Burgman 650 with Givi touring wind screen.
